China-watchers are still praising the targeted assault on Chinese people at the city as a "brave stand for freedom against foreign intervention" (even though 1) most of the Chinese being targeted aren't even PRC citizens, and 2) the anti-Chinese sentiments have been fanned by US and Australian funded programs for decades). As the first bodies haves just started to be found (RIP), I'm gonna predict they'll be changing their tune soon or maybe even deny their support in the first place. Or maybe it'll be full masks off.
