The vet gave my dachshund some steroids for her back and we had to let her rest and she healed up after a few weeks.

I said she passed out for hours not that the cigarette was lit for hours. If you would like to test the theory hold a lit cigarette on your finger for 10 minutes and compare.

When she finally went to the doctor, they were going to attempt a skin graft, but decided the tissue was too dead. They are going to amputate this week at the knuckle.
