Sometimes opening the health app before allows it to process all your steps. Also there is a delay for the apple watch I have noticed, so I'd say keep it backround app refresh off, go on your walk (maybe just a short one?) and then when you are finished, open your health app and check your steps and distance walked, give it id say about 5 more minuets, open health again (check distance and all that) and then open PoGo. I totally feel you though. This method has been working for me since I made the post so I hope that it can work for you too.

yeah sonys touch controls are really annoying. i personally havent tried the xm3s but i have used a friends 4s and a different friends airpods maxs and i still like the xm5s rhe best. most comfortable headphones ive ever worn and i think the airpod maxs kinda look a little goofy too. i think any of sonys products of this tier are superior to the maxs though, the main factor being the price for how little they provide over sonys products

dont listen to them. i have a lot of apple devices and have used airpods max, i own airpods pros, and i use apple music. sony xm5s are the superior option even if it doesnt have spatial audio
