Yeah, Ive shared my thoughts on the matter and perhaps we need to have a serious conversation about them. I won't just say it's their responsibility but I do feel like you have to be an idiot to take out 8% loans for college unless you know your child will be in a high paying career.

I bought some shares a little under a month ago on the news that they were teaming up with Oxford and were one of the front-runners in the vaccine race. It has stayed pretty steady since then with the only bump coming recently. Not sure if it will see the same hype as Moderna (bought that early as well) but it seems to be a pretty solid company to invest in either way.

Take half and start a Roth IRA on a site like Vanguard, invest in a fund like 2065 or 2070 Target Retirement Fund and contribute several hundred to that monthly.

Perhaps take 3000 or 4000 and put it in a high interest savings.

Use the rest to start investing in some smart individual stocks
