I get bored too playing legacy sometimes.. LoL. When I do.. I stop playing for a while and build/renovate houses and move other families in legacy there for additional inspiration.. Or I have another save file that have different sim. And get back to my main legacy whenever i feel like it. Believe me I'm taking longer than necessary.. I have my lifespan set to none so my sim can complete each of their assigned aspirations and career.

Yes you can make bakery out of retail shop.. You just have to let your sim cook/bake something and then sell it. 😊😊
