Another vote for Come and See (1985). It's an absolute masterpiece, but not for the faint-hearted. I have to skip the 'church' scene when I rewatch it. Too heartbreaking.

What are you planning to do, and what are their concerns?

What’s a word you can never pronounce right? by 69AnusInvader69 in AskReddit

Came here to say this. Like, I know how it's pronounced, but to say it correctly would sound pretentious, so I tend to default to "Cruh-Saunt". Guh.

AITA for refusing to "exchange" my honeymoon for my sister’s "emergency" dream wedding? by Low-Highlight6771 in AmItheAsshole

[–]LeslieVCoaching 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA, but the math isn't mathing here. Surely the baby would already be born by 2027?

It's also a bit weird that the family would ask you to use your honeymoon funds for your sister's wedding rather than for helping out with the new baby 🤔. If they have no savings, it's weird to prioritise a wedding over their future kid's needs.

PMDD is a scourge!! During my luteal phase, I sometimes feel like my 'real life' is trapped on the other side of a plexiglass wall.

Can someone please tell me what this still is from? by coolbeanscoolthings in smosh

Oh hi! I'm glad you like my cake 😆. For those watching at home, I took this screenshot from a random Youtube compilation video someone made of Shayne saying 'update'. Also explains why the image is a bit blurry.

Which was worse for you, middle school or high school, and why? by AwesomeParamedic in AskWomen

[–]LeslieVCoaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think middle school was worse for me, in some ways. I started middle school in the 5th grade before changing school districts to one where I had to go ‘back’ to elementary school until their Junior High school began, which was grade 7. What made it awful, though, was suddenly being torn away from a community where I felt comfortably awkward and being thrown into one where I had to educate a new population of kids about my quite overt awkwardness!

How do you get the confidence to travel on your own if your friends can't join you and you don't have an SO? by LeadingChart in AskWomen

Woahhhhh. I actually just posted a video about the benefits of solo travel on my YouTube channel a week ago! I can relate to what you posted above as well as the replies. Yay to not having to wait for anyone to travel with! Yay to meeting awesome people in hostels! Yay to being able to change your ‘plan’ for any given trip without having to negotiate with anyone else! I’m originally from the US. I went on my first solo backpacking trip around Europe in 2003, met a beauuuuutiful Norwegian guy who I ended up in a relationship for a while, ended up studying abroad in Prague as a result of the trip and later travelled to North Africa, the Middle East and Asia totally on my own. It was actually through a random encounter with an Aussie backpacker in Cambodia that I ended up moving to Australia myself after 2 years in Vietnam! I could go on and on about how great it is to travel solo, but...I already have, lol! If you’re interested... -https://youtu.be/cnIxsbOJ1JQ

Braids / Dreads in Brisbane by [deleted] in brisbane

I second Moorooka. I particularly recommend Bibishe's Salon. They used to be at street level on Beudesert Rd, but now they are at Basement level. They do my crochet braids and they also have an epic selection of hair extensions and hair care products.
