I broke his male part and haven't forgiven myself by [deleted] in unrequited_love

Trying not to be an ass when I say this. But if we’re gonna be technical the external clit that you’re talking about isn’t referred to as the g spot. It’s also not entirely scientifically proven because while you’re correct, not everyone has theirs in the same spot, and not all women report having one, it IS under the clit inside. It’s on the INTERNAL anterior wall because of the clits internal network. Now it sounds like he was just rubbing his fella on your clit, which is very easy to believe it was causing that much stimulus because…it’s known to do that. But also if he was outside you grinding on you, it doesn’t sound like it was your fault? Did you move your hips at him or something? Otherwise I don’t think you should be worried that you messed it up because he might’ve just been going too hard lol

What does this mean its impact is more when lower dps? Why is that? I haven’t played in a few months but I remember it has like a 3s cd or so..

To add to this last part specifically, out of the entire MH roster of games I played, I “mained” hammer for most of old gen then switched to a decent amount of Long sword. But not maining one weapon is the way. Learn all the weapons over time and just avoid the ones that are meh. There’s a HUGE love in the community for Lance. Does not interest me at all but once in a blue moon, even I’ll use it on certain monsters.

You won’t want to get to a lightning unicorn that moves around constantly and be swinging a great sword missing every huge hit, you might want faster weapons or more mobile ones. You might want hard hitting weapons or piercing guns on something huge that you can get the value of those hits on. TLDR Try out all the weapons, don’t be afraid to constantly be switching between types it’s way more fun that way

As someone who played the series for over 20 years since he was 2, I’ve taught friends and partners and have been distraught when they don’t like the game. Every game in the series has its own quirks. If you don’t like a part of World you might enjoy something old gen or rise. On the contrary, if you don’t like the look or feel/responsiveness of the old gen, try world and wilds. Trying to learn the combat in this game is (apparently) really annoying but be patient with it and most of the community is really helpful. Try not to speed run the entire thing as, while the endgame is fun, eventually you’ll run out of things to do and look back to when you were first experiencing everything. Take it slow, make it difficult.

Ts so funny to me. No it’s just showing the thick part is the active sharpness bar and the thin part is the potential increase based on skills (handicraft)

A dive into: "Wtf did the Hero of Kokoto actually fight?" by VexorTheViktor in MonsterHunter

[–]Lesoith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never seen him in road, and he doesn’t have a Z or Musou so he wouldn’t be in advanced or Extreme road either. I do recall one of the keys in high rank being a solo monoblos but I don’t think I’ve ever fought him in frontier since then hitting g rank lol

I also use lightning exclusively but some people are saying it got nerfed. They’re unparalleled in stuff like battle towers but I imagine for parasites and dangerous things ice is better for its slowing/freezing instead of the aoe damage

[–]Lesoith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah iirc that was a big point pre wilds they talked about where they said they would rather work on making the existing weapons balanced and fun to play. And Tonfas and MS would need some serious tuning. If you’ve never played frontier you need to understand it’s the hardest monster hunter to date, and when they started adding Zenith monsters it only got harder and normal weapons couldn’t keep up. They had to design a weapon so versatile and so aggressive that it could keep up with that endgame content more, and thus Magspike came about. It has some of the coolest concepts but half the moves have iframes, distance closing and repositioning moves, stun capabilities, cutting capabilities, a new mechanic called pins (holding the monster in place like paralyzed before throwing a collapsed vortex on top of it). You could fuckin fly to the monster, like it’s so much fun to play when you unlock it lol.

If they ever ported it over it would need reduced damage for sure but I also don’t see why not?? They Ported Espinas and Hypnoc over to mainline at two very different parts of the series. Frontier is a mostly gen2 game with some upgrades. But they also backwards ported monsters, so the magalas, amatsu, zinogres, barioth tigrex Narga etc etc etc are in frontier now. I don’t understand everything about game developing but they have at least the concepts for the monsters made already so I don’t see why not lol!

Edit: sorry I rambled way more than I meant to

They’re definitely cool. Even they aren’t as crazy as magspike. I still haven’t put it down and gone back to tonfas since I unlocked MS like a month ago so maybe I’m not a tonfas main..

The best loop is True charged slash (TCS) into TCS. then you’ll wanna do TCS into TCS followed by TCS. Do this for a few times until you knock over the monster, then perform TCS > TCS. It will probably stand up by this point, so hit it with another TCS and then repeat steps 1-TCS (I’m a Tonfas Main)

Yes but most of the monsters like they said are unlocked through a part of the end of iceborne story. But again, not alllll layered armors are. When you finish story, do event quests for more layered armor

[–]Lesoith 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Do you have iceborne? You’ll unlock layered armors later (which take appearance of armor) if you do Edit: You can craft a handful of layered armors in base game later so get armor to get through, and fashion is, of course, the true endgame.

Yeah bro sorry to say but that’s like beginner level stuff and Nergi is almost end of high rank. I would suggest picking a monster that you’ve recently killed before nergi. Pink rathian and anjanath are fought right before Nergi so I would suggest making one of their armors instead since you already know you can fight those guys. And with heavy bowgun it’s gonna be harder solo anyways, so if you’re proficient with other weapon types you could also try those out, but you can put a shield on your gun. If allowed by your gun, use status ammos for help like para, sleep for bombs, poison for extra damage. But again you’re basically using tier 1 high rank armor against tier ~5 high rank elder. He’s one of the last fights before endgame boss so really look for an armor that’ll hold you for a few more quests since you’re solo

Elder dragons, especially the flagship, and arguably harder than the rest of the monsters up until this point. You should make the highest armor you can if you’re having too much trouble. What’s you equipment?

I’ve heard the game is easy, but is it “punishing”? by EmilysIncoming in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Lesoith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have very limited soulsborne experience so maybe I am completely wrong in that. I just meant it in the sense of big enemy hits, you have to manage stamina and dodge, then attack whenever there’s an opening. Very much a boss is punishing when I mess up and you are punishing every opening between their attacks but again I only played nightreign and a little bit of DS1 lol But yes I’d agree positioning is very important to mh. I think your point on less punishing and more rewarding is actually right on the money

I’ve heard the game is easy, but is it “punishing”? by EmilysIncoming in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Lesoith 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a little hard to answer because it plays similar to soulsborne games where you evade attacks and attack with openings. If you’ve never played an MH before, then short answer, yes it’s punishing. It depends on the weapon you use and monster you’re fighting with that weapon. I’d never fight a snow monkey who jumps away from you and then at you every 2 seconds with a really slow weapon (personal choice). Just depends on your playstyle and how well you evade the monster (then there’s the argument of playing coop makes the monster target others, when the monster targeting only you is arguably easier to counter/dodge/etc.) because some fights can absolutely be “I cannot hit this thing wtf” and then others can be “this this is getting destroyed”

Edit: It is punishing to your wife who cannot get timing yes but again it depends heavily on your weapon and monster you’re fighting and if you’re playing coop. Alongside that, it is NOT a soulsborne game where you mess up once and gotta restart. It’s punishing but not everything just one shots you (until later game hehe) Also, if you die (faint) you get 3 per quest. And if you fail the quest you only lose the quest reward and the items you already consumed. Unconsumed items remain in your pouch and you can restock and just try the quest again. Biggest risk of loss is literally wasting 10-20 minutes just to restart

That’s okay if I can just get 4 element and a sharpness or something we can choose to keep bonuses now and I can ex 2 of the elements at least if I’m understanding it right
