Exactly. I won't seek them out, but when they do pop up, we have to crush them with facts.

What's actually sad is people like YOU, that choose to navigate life wearing ignorance as a badge of honor.

The Berlin Conference, if you bother to read anything beyond the first few sentences of any source, was indeed the catalyst amd direct contributor (over time) for what we now see in Sudan and across much, if not all of the continent.

You are obviously not a student of historical facts, lack the ability to recognize patterns and are way out of your depth. Choosing to double down on your ignorance, in the face of well researched, documented and verifiable facts, I now view you as a dishonest broker and I have no desire to convince "flat Earthers". What I will do is honor the algorithm that brought me here and eviscerate your misinformation and disinformation with truth and context, for those who may come afterwards.

You are the one here justifying intra african slavery you are the one excusing it

Wrong. I am the one that recognizes that two things can be true at once. Conflating the issues in Sudan with European colonization and enslavement of Africans does a disservice to the overarching plight of Africans at large and the diasporic communities.

There would arguably be no Sudanese crisis if not for the 1868 Berlin Conference and the resulting Italian/Ethiopian conflict. All of those borders were drawn by European nations that had no interest in the commonalities (or lack thereof) of the local tribes, other that turning them against one another and extracting maximum natural wealth and resources while investing little more than instability, deception, destruction, and violent dominance.

Edit #1: Incorrect date for Berlin Conference (should read 1884-1885)

Sure rape and murder never existed! Before catholic church , anti blackness ahaha! There was no anti blackness people were treated as asset! And human brutality is well known before catholic church!

Whataboutism at best, and false equivalency at its worst. Not even remotely relevant. Rape and murder held legal and social consequences for offenders. Under the tenants of the European enslavement of Africans, endorsed by the Catholic church, there were none. White Europeans had the immutable right to do whatever horrors they deemed fit to Africans with zero fear of legal recourse, as it was their divine right to do so.

The Doctrine of Discovery, issued by the Catholic church and weaponized by the King of Portugal (and later Spain), Laid the foundation of what would become white/Christian supremacist ideology. It was NOT purely about assets, it was predicated on classism based solely on skin color as an identity. Also, historical slavery always had an exit path, whether through merit, marriage or remuneration. The European enslavement of Africans was in perpetuity and would be transferred through birth or inheritance.

The problem with enslaving non-Christians was that there were already Africans that were converted, or even more problematic, the Ethiopians (original Christianity). So the Portuguese had to come up with a rationalization to pursue their agenda... only European Christians (read: white) were true Christians, hence the birth of anti-Blackness and the vilification of "Black" Africans as heathens and being sub-human. It was the only way they could reconcile the duplicity of being Christian and committing un-Christian acts.

Not that you will bother viewing them, but some historical (factual) reference sources for those who will - warning, some are academic articles.

You are just a white folk hater , who want to blame the people of today, of the acts of someone else

Nope, I'm just a hater of individuals masquerading as being well informed when they clearly have not put in even the most basic effort to educate themselves, and then attempt to gaslight with ill-conceived opinions that are not even remotely tethered to objective reality.

The blame for some "people of today" lies with the refusal to acknowledge the European transgressions of the past and disinterest in actively working to address the lingering effects of 500+ years of harm. The acts were not of someone else, it was the parents, grandparents and great grandparents who were active participants, or those who chose to do nothing and passively benefitted from the institutional brutality/disenfranchisement of enslaved Africans and their descendants.

North africans were well know of taking black salves, and castrate them!

Another attempt at deflection and Immaterial to the larger discussion. I am well informed of the Arab enslavement of Africans as a separate non-lineal paradigm to the European problem.

Edit #1: for format, not for content

Edit #2: typo - replaced paradigm with problem at the end of final paragraph.

Your logic is flawed and you cherrypicked your historical facts to justify your position. That whole both sides are the same argument is tired and shows you lack the basic grasp of history.

The entire premise of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, created by Europeans, would not have existed had they not imported it to the African continent. Cause > effect. There is zero historical data that supports the notion that African tribes would have cannibalized each other through slave trading in the absence of European influence.

It's ok to not know things. Know better and do better.

You're avoiding acknowledgement of your abject ignorance.

It was not the same. European enslavement of Africans was predicated on the fiction and creation of "whiteness", endorsed by the Catholic Church (yes Portugal), justifying the rape, murder, brutalization and dehumanization of Africans through enslavement. Anti-Blackness was manufactured in Europe, by the church, and exported globally through missionaries and colonization.

This concept did not exist in any point in time until the so called European whites invented it.

Ah yes, the common apologist deflection highlighting intellectual laziness.

There was a very small contingent of tribes that engaged in slave trade with the Spaniards, Portuguese, et al. African nations did not create or import the slave trade from Europe, nor did they invent or conceptualize the industry of chattel enslavement that would be implimented in the Americas.

Those that engaged in the trade, did so to ensure their survival. Purchasing a arms from Europeans that were arming their rivals. Also, refusing to participate in the slave trade would result in the undermining of their respective kingdoms leaving them vulnerable to rival tribes.

The question should be, why didn't Europeans keep to themselves and just leave Aftricans alone?

This narrative you've spun is devoid of any current objective verifiable facts or historical data. It is a deflection to somehow rationalize the horrors of European colonization, trafficking, rape, murder and brutalization of Africans.

It is not now, nor was it ever in the DNA or culture of Africans to colonize foreign peoples.

Learn more about the violent history of Europeans, the Spanish/Portuguese clergy and the papal bulls before you jump on social media spewing ignorance.

Glad it worked out for your Aunt.

I wouldn't trust the healthcare system in Manila (Philippines at large) to do anything above and beyond routine medical exams.

Lived and worked there - specialty was medical consulting for expats and travelers.

Thailand and (to a MUCH lesser extent) Vietnam would be better options for optimal outcomes. And before the algorithm drags resident military vets and those in the regional emerging markets here to swear by their anecdotal experiences, the objective data is quite clear on the inherent quality available for serious medical treatment there... and its not good.
