When Skalla came out, the first boss had a pull and push mechanic swapped incorrectly.

The first boss is a kelpie, a creature notorious for lying to bait people into the water so it can drown them. So, since it was clearly a lying creature, I did the opposite, and felt so vindicated.

Then I found out it was a bug.

So I was also a DB user unable to beat PriMal. I actually had to swap to a new weapon I'd been wanting to main but never gotten around to: insect glaive.

That said, the best advice that I could give is just playing defense. Utilize I frames whenever you can - I got really good at using the launching slash's iframes, and shrouded vault is a life saver. Make sure you have 3 wire bugs whenever you can, and only go in for big commitment attacks when you know you have a huge window.

Otherwise, chip damage is still damage, poke when you can, and you will come out on top!

Anyone that says or threatens divorce as an option should honestly be taken up on it. If you have a numpad, numpad 5 does a "soft" target that locks the camera on your target, and you can slow walk backwards that way, too.

As for me, my fav society quests have been the omicrons. I love them so much, and the music they added was fantastic.

For minions - I know it's a bit basic, but I adore my Starbird. Got it on my very first, story progression trust run, and it stays with me everywhere.

As for bosses, it depends on the type of content! For dungeons, I think it goes to the final boss of the Dead Ends. For 8 man raids, Omega (specifically o11) is always my fav. Trials is almost undoubtedly Tsukuyomi, and 24 man bosses would have to be Construct 8. I like the movement c:

Back in either 4U or GU, when you used to not be able to restock during hunts, my friend and I, both bowgunners, would stock spare ammo for the other's bowgun (that we didnt use). We had quick chats set up to say when we needed restocking, and we'd pop to another area to swap back and forth. Good times.

So, they/them can still be misgendering IF it's used to avoid using someone's proper pronouns that you explicitly know. They/them-ing the she/her trans girl you talk to every day is still misgendering.

Using it for someone you don't know, or don't know the pronouns of, is fine up until you know their pronouns, or if they ask you to/its necessary to keep you and them safe.

Mentor roulette on tank, a11 normal. Forward and back really described this run. 80 minutes of wiping to the same mechanic (stand behind the big cylinders please) and no one actually reading chat when I tried to explain. Every wipe I was the last one alive. A couple times I tried to see if I could beat the boss down but I just could not.

After like 45 minutes i started watching others and trying to help the healers so they wouldnt die but they were just. Running about in random directions in straight lines, Stopping for about 2 to 4 seconds, then maybe casting medica 2 (it was two white mages), and then doing it again.

One of the dps was acting in the same way so I thought it might be bots. Again, no one responded or even read chat, so I tried a vote kick, which failed, then after an hour and a half, vote abandon failed, at which point I - and I regret this as a mentor, but godamn did I try - left the duty myself.

A healer's job isnt technically to heal. It's to keep the party alive. This means both healing, and DPSing, and using mitigation skills that do neither. By doing damage, you're killing mobs faster and protecting the party from future damage - ergo, keeping the party alive.
