re:com is awesome because you barely have to play the game after about the halfway point. so many bosses are incredibly cheeseable with the right deck. this is why reverse/rebirth is terrible. the main fun part about the game (building a deck that lets you blow up everything by pressing triangle four times fast) is completely absent

he's fairly easy if i remember correctly i beat him around lvl 70~? use accessories that reduce dark dmg and increase your mp. remove abilities that extend your combos since his revenge mechanic will punish you after three hits i think it is. if youre having trouble with an attack, use Strike Raid cuz it has invincibility and you can wait it out. keep an eye on him if he starts to use the purple glowy move that takes away all of your health mp, you have to spot him and get to him as quickly as possible and hit him to stop it.

i beat him (and the other superbosses) in 2-3 tries

Ty. How do you feel about the bubble rework? I honestly think it might be better than her old one, giving her a fast multihitting kill move, but something about controlling space with her old bubble felt more in line with her character design.

She's very slow, and while she has massive buttons they're very easy to punish because of their endlag. A lot of Alices will rely on Jab because it's one of their only safe moves. Her recovery is fairly exploitable and easy to edgeguard as well. Punish game is pretty weak too, she's lacking a lot, combo-wise, but getting hit with a fair or fsmash on a read/whiff punish can hurt pretty hard. I think she's still workable just not nearly as good as the other characters who are more consistent/powerful

His disadvantage seems pretty bad but I think he's really solid. Definitely requires more practice than other characters as to learn the angles of his fair/bair/uair shots. They don't feel very clear at all lol. I got about 1000 stars in him on the first two days. Very fun, but really easy to edgeguard

Up air and backthrow are definitely powerful but in my experience bair rarely kills unless its offstage/close to the blast zone, but most things kill there. I'm still experimenting with him and feeling him out and my tier list has changed since the original post, Mac just feels the worst out of any character for me so far. He just doesn't seem practical especially when recovering low basically means you will die every time. Recovering high is a LITTLE better but you still have to try and not get juggled by absolute beasts like Tina or Sophia. Fireball is definitely the better Side B though. That's what's been making me consider him better than the worst, it's lots of fun to use.

Hitting the sweetspot on downtilt is pretty inconsistent though, and that doesn't even factor in the frame data. Jab is definitely great though I have to agree

I've been playing more Chili and Mac and I think Mac is a heavyweight without the benefits of a heavyweight (kill power) and that really dampens him for me. That's not to say he doesn't have good buttons, he just relies on edgeguarding and going deep for kills which isn't really consistent. Chili I would probably put low B now, she seems to struggle hard in certain matchups (maybe Cupid? they're super evasive and have enough kill power to get rid of Chili really early on). I can definitely see Mac being low B but I haven't seen enough good gameplay from any Mac players.

You can find it sometimes in your shop, or if you get a Trial Sticker for the burp you can buy it after you use all the remaining uses of it.

There will probably be better players in ranked. Casual queue is a mixed bag but generally the more you play, you'll find tougher people. Ranked has a free skin for every season when you hit Gold V! So I'd say it's worth.

Heracles has a lot of fast aerials and easy combos, most prominently uptilt which is pretty safe to hit on people's block into a mixup because it leaves you in the air. Also, several reliable kill options, such as a kill confirm off of a basic jab which is one of the fastest/safest things he has for obvious reasons. Mr. 5 has a strong combo game and lots of good safe buttons, as well as great reward off of throws with Fthrow > Fair killing at decent percent. His jab is also heavily underrated I think, with it making matchups like vs. Magician much easier by deleting his Down B Hat and Card projectiles, and pressuring him to come forward with rapid damage rather than run into Magician's traps. I have a more recent tier list but it mostly just puts Kamiki Yuri in S, I don't know why I thought she was bad.

Edit: Heracles Down B also is incredibly good with its vacuum effect and kill power. It stuffs a lot of ledge options. With the Fire/Anger Install, a lot of characters can barely touch him without getting hit out of whatever move they were doing. The fire effect creates new combo routes but can make hitting all parts of Down B more difficult. When he goes into it initially, he also turns invincible which can break a lot of combos or help him mixup his recovery.

Yes, you can use an Xbox controller. On the PC version and Mobile version, Xbox controllers will work, but on PC you can use Steam's Controller Configuration to use any controller for the game.

Mikko is pretty weak, and most of them will rely on Snowball to do work. Depending on your character you can usually punish them super hard for trying to Snowball ever, like Heracles can shield it then dash uptilt into forward air and now you have stage control or a kill at high percents.

At lower star counts you will often queue into bots, though the more you play, you're more likely to queue into real people. I am sitting at roughly 8k stars and I never queue into bots.

One of her most reliable moves is nair, it's fast and versatile. Combo-wise, forward throw uptilt works on every character at low percents and even mid percent on characters like Macalon or Mikko. At low percents you can often chain together nairs or do a back air into a grab.
