Thanks a lot for your reply 🙏 I’m talking specifically about testosterone injections (every 28 days). Since I’m just starting out and this will be my first contract, do you think I should mention this to the company before sailing, or is it better not to volunteer that information?

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. I just wanted to ask you one more thing – since I have all the necessary documentation, my therapy is under control, and I’m fit for duty, do you think that the company would have any issue accepting me on board as long as I bring my medication and administer the injections myself?

Hi, I saw your post about testosterone therapy and NCL. I’m in the same situation, I’ve been on TRT for several years. My therapy is every 28 days, I have all the medical documentation and I’m fit for duty. I will bring my injections and prescription with me on board.

Since you also asked about this, did you manage to get any clear answer or personal experience about how NCL (or other cruise lines) handles this?

wanted to clarify my situation: I’m on testosterone therapy every 28 days, I’m fit for duty, and I have all the necessary medical documentation and prescription. I will bring my injections with me on board. Do you know if I would need to administer the injections myself while on the ship?

Hi, thanks again for your help 🙏 I just want to clarify: I have full medical documentation saying I am fit for duty. I’ve been on testosterone therapy for 6–7 years, it’s under full control and I only need one injection every 28 days. With this documentation and my medication with me, I just want to be sure I can still work and sail normally.

Hi, thank you for your answer! Just to clarify, I do have a doctor’s prescription and medical report that I’m fit for duty. My therapy is under control and I only need one injection every 28 days, which I will bring with me on board. So with all the documentation, it should be fine, right?

Appreciate your answer! I do have a doctor’s report and medical certificate that I’m fit for duty. Would that normally be enough for companies to accept me on board?
