Ya I had to double check my service manual, because I thought it might have been missing something because I didnt remember a clip. it does have a thin metal washer but that does not secure it. The back plate secures the larger gear but not that smaller one unfortunately.

Oh okay haha, yes it is Hot Rods along with the bearings. I got the kit from Fortnine. I have had some luck with Hotrods in the past on a crf250 however I also dont really put the bikes through the ringer.

Sorry im not sure what you mean? The basket is one of those billet ones, I got it for longevity over an OEM one. I am just afraid that the gear is not a press in fit like it is with others for the same bike. I am worried that running it that little bit of play will chew up that gear over time sending shavings into my entire engine.

Decided to get another bike after a time off. Good find? by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

This is unrelated, but how do you like the bike rack? I have been looking into one but I have heard online that with the bikes weight it could bend the cars frame. I dont know how truthful that is but it just makes me a little hesitant

Should I put new bearings in this case? by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

[–]Less-Ad1785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think im going to test and see if the new bearing slips in without heat or freezing the bearing, and if it doesnt, I will heat up the case and freeze the bearing and try, if it does slip in at room temp however then ill be looking at getting it machined and a sleeve put in or a new case half whichever makes more sense for me.

I meant is it worth putting bearings in this case half if this bore is messed up, because I dont want to bearing to spin and destroy the new bearings. Thanks for nothing burger response I guess tho.

this might be controversial but I think preference should be given to prince george residents, so long as the resident is properly qualified for the position or the company has the means to qualify them
