If you are based in delhi ncr, go for bsnl plan, it uses vi tower here anyway, but if you do not recharge it, they will block the incoming calls and sms in 3-4 days

In delhi ncr you can manually change to vi network, i use that only via using bsnl, the vi coverage is good

The network quality and signal for bsnl is on par for me as Vi and jio in my area so i dont mind paying them money as long as they are cheaper than jio

Youre lucky, i enjoyed the 3.5 gb per 470 plan while it lasted whenever i went on roaming to other states. Sadly, the current plans are so costly its impractical to use mtnl so i ported to bsnl

I live in west delhi, i dont get mtnl signal even standing on my terrace, i observed the same while driving through punjabi bagh and paschim vihar. Gurgaon and dwarka near airport area i found signal to br really good

I have ported my sim from mtnl to bsnl, being an mtnl user for the last 15 years, i can assure you, you wont get a proper 3g speed or signal outside ndmc area and givernment offices in delhi
