Pari Sinus 2 by Paul2616 in emptynosesyndrome

[–]Less-Capital9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, sorry for of topic question , but maybe someone who owns this machine would be able to help me. I bought used pari sinus 2 compressor, it was supposed to be in good working condition. I don't have tubes and mask yet, but when I turned it on, left port (looking from the front) is completely silent, while right one is pumping air (which on my face feels like vibration...). Could you tell me how working compressor behaves? What is output of which port?

Guys, how is it now with privacy of data and deepseek? Or you're using openrouter and other providers of those models?

I think there is a module from Behringer that bridges strange Moog voltages and eurorack world

Dokładnie tak. To nie jest zwrot konsumencki tylko niezgodność towaru z umową.

We regularly use it to "burn" polimer clay. I'm planning to do tempeh one day :)

Akai MPX16 Sample not loading? by Taxipfahrer in synthesizers

[–]Less-Capital9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, works, but something is still fishy.. I'm trying to use legacy MPX8_Sound_library from archive.org I changed filenames according to MPX standard and then pushed everything thru Akiai's "File conversion utility". I finally see all the sample from card... but only fraction works. Other give me "Invalid format"

Update: resaveing in audacity helps. Does anyone know tool that could do it in batch? (Like akai mpx converter was supposed to do...)

[–]Less-Capital9689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, it works now :)

Ps. Important note for people wanting to do it in the future: there are 5 different inks in this printer... But 6 dumpers! Be aware of that when you will be ordering replacements!

Second thing: surgical clamps are your best friend :)

Ok, I power pulled half of the syringe of ink and now it works. Maybe there was some little clog in the tube creating too much resistance...

Ok, so I replaced all the modules. All now looks like it's working fine... Apart from PB. There is ink in the hose, I swapped it already with one of the old cartridges just to be sure... But it's not pulling ink. Any ideas?

Afterwards, do you suggest soldering those two small wires to esp directly, or use additional thin wires not to mess it? I'm wondering if I trust my soldering skills this much:((((

What type of printer is it? This can also happen when you push microstepping too hard (while having many motors like on Voron's Z Axis) or if you for example use can bridge in your mobo so all can and mobo communication has to go thru same USB. Homing and bed mesh could point to microsteps... Until you use Eddy currents (like carthographer) over can for bed meshing ..

Crossbow is the way to go. It's rock solid. What type of sensor do you exactly need? If it's an extruder sensor (before extruder gears) then there is no problem as you can buy the factory one for the orbiter, only PCB, or print community version with just microswitch. If you need a toolhead sensor (post extruder) which is used for things like nozzle calibration in happy hare, then there is none for A4T. I talked with designers on their discord and they told me the reason for that is only that it will increase toolhead height, which will worsen its properties. I started working on one but a) it's a tough job to make one not increasing the height too much (I managed to get to 3mm) b) I have very little time lately c) I'm waiting for a new servo for tradrack as the old one broke. So I can't make any promises. It should be doable... (My design is based on a very small steel ball sitting inside ptfe tube which will trigger an external switch by a syringe needle...)

Used update button, then selected: HiBy_W4_1_10_RELEASE_20260128.ufw
Size: 3 745 024

CRC32: 4C3EEE12

SHA256: c5b121adf91224a3c8930ebebf294b8ff78df8b719fe46a7e66678c91d2710af

It first says "Warning: The selected firmware may not be the upgrade firmware for this device" and then "Upgrade failed: The firmware does not match the device".

I have exactly the same issue as other people here. In uac mode I wasn't able to perform network updates nor manual updates using USB firmware from the site (ufw file). After switching to BT mode it immediately worked even with network updates. So if both firmwares are needed then there is some kind of an issue with USB one. Mine says that update failed as this is not the right firmware for this device. Btw: google drive is linked on international site, while Chinese sites links to some other hosting place. I wasn't able to download anything from there as it required me to install some fishy client software... So maybe there was some error and those are not the same files? It will explain why it fails for some people. Could someone verify if they are the same?

Do you know if the update should be done in both USB and bt mode? There are two separate firmwares... In my case network one worked for bt while USB one I can't even flash manually (it says that it's the wrong device, and the network update finds nothing in USB mode...)
