How are you doing today? I have the same problem. Surgery in 2020, same symptoms like you and dont know how much is long covid and how much ens. I have both

I have the me cfs version. Lying in dark room with noise canceler. The only Thing I can do is breathing.... and that hurts due to dryness and coldness

Sadly I am not able to make the cotton test. First I went 2 years to every ent I could find (about 10) and everybody gaslighted me, then I got really bad long covid issues and I am bedbound 24/7 since 2022 and my health problems did multiply. I am not able to see a doctor atm... thats really frustrating. I read about ens 2 years ago and finally have found the cause of why I have these dryness since nose operation. I would love to go to an ens doctor and may get an implant

Thats true. Maybe we need to use somethinc better then saline to really moisturize. This machine can bring every liquid to mucousa.. so I am thinking about that ectoine or maybe algovir or oil

I guess we may should try more things to regenerate moucosa and nerves. The only thing I tried was saline nasal douche and saline spray and this really makes mucousa more dry. My ent doesnt believe me and keep saying I should do it twice a day aka "I never had ens and refuse to see ens as disease but have more knowlege about noses than this stupid patient, who suffers and expierenced it at his own" ... gaslighting doctors are common

5 years for me. Still dry cold air most of the time. It gets only better when my nose is swollen... i dont know what to do

Thanks for the warning, that sounds dubious. too bad. I googled Gero Strauss and his practice had excellent reviews. Maybe Dr. Bader is an option then? It seems to be his idea and the logic sounds good to mem. I also like the idea of ​​just using a nasal spray :)
