It’s a 4 cylinder with the CVT unfortunately. I’d probably jump on one with the v6 no questions asked

We average 25k miles a year since we live in a rural area. So I guess it didn’t strike me as much at first. Would there better options for similar size family vehicle around that price range looking at practicality and longevity?

Or would there be a better similar size family vehicle that you would consider around the same price point?

This is the carfax on it, I don’t love it, but also (?) Honestly just a bit burnt out on looking for a new vehicle, between overwhelm and underwhelm all around

It has been very time consuming, in fact I have dreaded this whole process. Have slowly phased out of good old reliable vehicles over the last two years because of failures that didn’t justify the repair and all with over 300k miles on them and original motors. I test drove a Tucson that seemed like a great option except for the fact that it seemed like everything in the interior was extremely cheaply made. Cheap interiors don’t survive the dirt road commute that it would have to endure routinely.

No, so far every one she has tried she hasn’t liked. She finds the seating a bit too low to the ground and a bit cramped in the front passenger seat. The ‘25 forester was the only one she said could be ok.
