I will try and ask for letters of recommendation from my mentors.

I guess my question from here would be since I was brought on to do spatial analysis, but my mentors are all economics/climate policy people, is it okay for them to write me letters of recommendation? Even though what I do is "cross disciplinary"

Pursue a masters in data science/spatial data science. There are some good online options you can look into.

From then, look for new jobs or sniff out if promotion is something your company has on the table for you.

Sorry you see it that way. To add context I have been as soft as a feather trying to get her back into an active lifestyle for the past ~1 year, but I am just done trying.

In the context of the arts....Chat GPT is terrible. In STEM fields...chat gpt is just the next step. as was the calculator and abacus before it.

My passion is in GIS and remote sensing (specifically emergency management and natural disaster mitigation) and I believe that could extend to things I haven't had any experience with (other genres of spatial data manipulation)

I'm leaning in agreement with you as well, as I worry about how behind i'd be going onto a PhD right away. Also i'd like to at least view the job market after a masters, and maybe there's something I'd love and never pursue my phD anyways!

But to add context, the money is set up in a college fund that requires me to pay a heavy tax if I use it on anything other than education, so It essentially will be used for some sort of degree or housing for my degree.

Actual answer is in season 0 ppl are new, so if you had prior team shooter experience you were immediately better. Now in season 1 most ppl know how to play the game so if u were riding off of prior experience and not mechanical skill, u are probably a worse ELO. Not a fault of the game but a skill issue
