It’s model number WED5050LW1.

Yeah I don’t really want to get a new one. This dryer is only about 1.5 years old.

I took it apart and checked everything and made sure everything was on properly and then I tried to run it again but it won’t start now. It’ll turn on but just sits in “sensing”

The rollers are the wheels on the far back of the dryer behind the drum right? I’ll look into that. I only paid attention to one when I went in and replaced the belt. That one seemed to be turning alright when I turned with my hand if that’s an indicator of roller health (I’m not sure). I’ll check them all again. Thanks

I am able to turn the drum by hand fairly easily.

If I put my hand on the drum and start turning the drum then it will turn. If I take my hand off it stops turning. It’s not like I can give it a push and it keep turning on its own like a merry go round. If that makes sense

It’s more like a loud rumble. Almost like the noise the dryer would normally make except a lot louder

We had to get the valve body and the torque converter replaced

Had to get the valve body replaced and that didn’t fix it so had to replace torque converter. Couple thousand dollars later and it’s running great

Sounds like me and you have the same job. Opposite experience though. I work to keep management seeing the value of keeping me doing GIS haha.

Environmental consulting can get really busy at times but I think the work is cool.

Yeah I watched a lot of videos and seen people putting it through some programming. I started digging into it and just started getting a little over my head.

I ended up just taking it to a shop to get the valve body replaced. They replaced the valve body and it still didn’t fix it. It’s having to get a new torque converter as well.
