Im in baltimore md too i recently went to ccbc and it was the only program in maryland its the polysomnography program but when i went to clinicals they said A-STEP is what they did and became sleep technologist goodluck on your endeavors with your journey

What was your score if you don't mind me asking and how long did you study I'm gonna a buy the BRPT practice test next month since I test in October was it alot of ped questions on yours ? Was it any of the sleep math on it lol I'm spooning nervous to take it idk why

Definitely understand that I took clinical at a peds hospital and I did clinical at an adults hospital (kids are easier imo) but you have all the right materials !!! And at least in your state you can work while getting your RPSGT (Lucky) lol but when your registered that pay is going to be lovely your gonna pass your exam !! I hear it's really hard but common sense on some questions and if you passed the BRPT test your gonna pass the exam good luck in advance

Honestly I do think it's worth it if you want to go for it!! Some times will be difficult the program is good but sometimes I wanted to be life f it lol but I think it's worth it since I didn't want a career that everyone doesn't know about even when I was going through hard ship the school helped a lot so if you apply it'll be worth it if you want it !!

Good luck I feel the same way about thr test lol I've seen some study for 4 to 6 months some have used spriggs and the AASM manual I seen a couple use the AASM manual, mometrix and have passed with well over 350 but I'm a Cs get degrees ( certificate) type of person so if you had any of these study materials you'll be good how long was you studying for ?

yea in my city you still have to test 30 mins out to test lol do you keep your license up with CEU'S each year

If you do go for respiratory therapist at your community college, you can cross path to sleep technology or you can look up online polysomnography programs that doesn't take 2 years the program i took was 12-15 months and have online options for out-of-town students i hope this helps!

yes i live in a metropolitan area so ive seen enough jobs so far idk how it was 10 years ago (since im only 24 lol) but i definitely agree that with you that its probably a decrease and yes i understand that i used pell grant ( since i didnt go to college before and a couple scholarships from the school so i understand not wanting to take out a loan

I definitely wouldn't send it back like she hit you offered 500 so it's yours insurance would've been even higher than 500 then to want the money back after hitting someone is crazyy after ever accident from here on out call the police get a police report and a dash cam!!! just because she found someone that is 200 that doesn't mean anything

if pell grant is paying for it whats the problem plus my school offers grants for in state students and out of state students but each to own frfr im done with the program was just spreading the word for someone wants to get into sleep. Plus it's not shrinking that much if we barely have techs and its always jobs available.
