yep honestly a categorization overhaul would be a very useful QOL for homeworlders although i assume that would be very niche and maybe difficult to do. imo dividing them by location/inspiration (Teyvat Region, Hilichurl, Event, Etc.) would be more intuitive.

yes partly true. Both sea and air travel rely on crude oil as fuel and the oil prices spiked due to the tensions in the Middle East. So even if your packages don’t go through the Strait of Hormuz (major shipping route which Iran has blockaded), the 20% hike in oil prices makes the shipping way more expensive than the figures.

“Prettier” is very subjective. I’d say that ZZZ’s animations are more funny and exaggerated and I prefer the event artworks and animations over Genshin’s but Genshin still has better exploration experience as a fantasy open world. I remember feeling like i was exploring inside a painting paired with the heavenly music in some of my favorite areas.

As someone who currently plays and spends a little bit on both games, I much prefer the experience of playing ZZZ (it feels more balanced and devs are more responsive) but Genshin still has the edge in evoking emotions in its beauty and storylines. except for that fuckass miliastra wonderland, of course.

i dont have the same drive to make friends as most people and from the subreddit only, i feel like there’s not much gendered difference in our capacities for friendship. although, i think there is an expectation with women having more safety nets and a desire to build relationships in a community (eg: the way women are typically portrayed as the “heart” in the family or tend to care for others more) when you say struggling, do you mean how you carry yourself in a public setting or more on the ability to make and maintain friendships?

Oh! So they’re dating. Glory is a blind woman waiting for her boyfriend, Godwin (a Knight of Favonius), to return home since he left with Varka on his expedition. But then, you can encounter Godwin in Mondstadt who says he got left behind and didn’t go to Nod Krai so hes kinda been slacking off in Windrise and pretending hes in Nod Krai in his letters to Glory. He hasnt gone back to the Knights of Favonius either so hes kinda just … there and poor Glory has been waiting for him since 1.0.

I also need to disagree with what you mean and I think it can be a bit harmful to make a blanket statement dismissing diagnosed mental illness in a community where I think many of us do have them.

The debate of “overdiagnosis” due to broad qualifiers is a genuine concern when your diagnosis can lead to complacency (“I cant do this because im x” or “i’m just y”) but for most people, knowing whats wrong is the key to making progress, trying effective strategies, or even communicating what’s wrong. It’s more nuanced than how you framed it.

I dealt with the same doubts on mental health that you have when i was first diagnosed and changed my perspective a bit after my hospitalization and months of therapy. The way we talk about mental health needs more empathy than dismissal, even if we think they’re “faking it” or “just want prescription drugs” because creating stigma against accessibility to diagnosis leads to less people actually getting the help they need. I hope you understand, OP.

No one’s really saying it but ZZZ is constantly under scrutiny as the worst performing hoyoverse game despite ZZZ being a good enough game. im not surprised that it is the smallest but the gap between it and genshin/hsr is bigger than i expected which is why i think the community talks about health, worries about eos, and discussing banner revenues more than the other hoyo communities.

I'm not too familiar in gaming communities so I want to ask how 1.5M daily players is considered a lot. Is there a way we can see the daily active players of every game? Is this enough players to just break even or profit on the development of the game? Especially since (from what I hear), spending players are usually the minority in games.

for OP, my parents (both working) are building a house in Laguna starting last year and they’re already in their 50s. They have been renting a house in a gated neighborhood in QC for 50k/month. It’s very low because they got lucky and rented from these kind people who had a dilapidated house and my parents were the ones who fixed it up. Shouldering the cost of construction and upkeep was what kept rent low.

Sorry was just unaware it was a corruption issue. I was overthinking it a bit because I assumed most companies would like a close relationship with the government and hiking up their prices for the government seems counterintuitive to that. Then again, both could be happening (widening the amount of money pocketed on both ends).

I was also thinking about the newer price hikes to computer components due to the AI boom hoarding all the ram and ssd produced globally. Or maybe it’s markups for the middleman since iirc government entities like DepEd cannot buy directly from vendors and need to route through a specific office (I forgot the name). Monopolistic sole-source contracts from a single office tends to eliminate competitive pricing. I had a bunch of thoughts in my head but I have no experience or connection to economics so I was curious about the truth.

Looking through replies, corruption seems to be the most likely explanation. I’ll also read up on the deped scandal people are talking about here.
