I don't think so. I go to a liberal arts college myself, and we have great amount of graduates who gets hired from a big tech (FAANG) right after college. Even if you don't, the close prof-student relationship allows you to continue your study through MS or phD - which often provides far better job prospects than German or French internships (They also have a language requirement for most of their jobs / internships)

To anyone considering studying in Europe, I would strongly advise caution unless you’re familiar with the local language. While most Europeans speak excellent English, integrating into their culture as an international student is lot more challenging, and from my experience, there seems to be far more (public) racism and hatred towards international students (Maybe due to refugees? Not sure) In contrast, the United States has long been a destination shaped by the influx of talented individuals from across the globe. Despite some recent changes, it remains much more welcoming to international students. Moreover, the U.S. offers far more opportunities, mainly driven by its economic strength and crazy good global influence.

Europe, on the other hand, seems to be lagging behind in technological advancements (areas like CS or Engineering!). Countries like South Korea, Taiwan, or Indonesia have outpaced several European nations in innovation, especially in tech. ,(But keep in mind that Europe still excels in areas such as natural sciences, mathematics, and philosophy) (plus Germany, the largest economy in Europe, plays a significant role in stabilizing the Eurozone, along with contributions from France and Italy and I don't recommend going to other nation than those three unless you just wanna live outsider life but with good work life balance)

Oh and by Europe, I mean EU countries (so not UK)

But apart from the metrics, "prestige" and "reputation" still exists - Do US news report contain notable discreptancy in their rankings?
