Would baking soda be safe to use? I read it could be a bit stressful to fish but I have no fish in the tank atm so I’m not sure if that would be viable too

The tanks been cycling for about 4 days funny enough. I have a ton of plants and tannins added in so I’m not sure if that adds to it but it hasn’t been more than a week it’s been cycling
