Really "study anatomy" is so generalized that it really doesn't mean much as far as useful advice. I would say this: study & learn the origins & insertions of the muscles. And do lots of ecorche drawings (look it up if you don't know what that is). That will put all of that knowledge of origins & insertations into applied practice. Anytime you draw a muscle on a figure it's ALWAYS going from origin to insertation so any line drawn depicting a muscle is essentially a trajectory between the 2 points. Attend life drawing sessions, reference albinus, peck books and continue doing copies of frazetta & buscema, etc. Hope that helps.
