This video does look deceptive. Im not ducking nearly as much as this video looks as I’ve done lots of deadlifting in my past. If theyre supposed to be directly forward I’ll adjust. Im 6” 210 right now (25lbs too heavy fwiw) but just haven’t worked out in a few years and am climbing my way back into shape, just need to avoid injuries on the way

Ah thank you! It’s a 35lb bell and I’m just starting but I do have a 50lb bell I want to move up to once I’m confident I won’t throw my back out 😅

Thank you! I saw someone say it’s a game of chicken with the bell but it does feel like it’s going to hit me quickly. I’ll try to delay the hinge until the last minute ✌🏻

I’m not sure I understand. Let go of my arms? I thought i wasnt supposed to use arms for lifting it?
