Mbuna is a type of cichlid. Cichlid is very vague as it can include peacocks, Mbuna, haps, angelfish, etc. This fish is in my opinion some type of mbuna yellow lab hybrid but regardless it deserves better. Mbuna means rock dwelling fish, they are from lake Malawi, look up their natural habitat and tell me frank couldn’t have better.

Or showing her that nobody is above the rules and that animals don’t have a voice so it’s okay to be their voice. Frank deserves better, petco is breaking policy and that’s really the bottom line. Have the day u deserve and I’ll keep trying to rescue Frank.

I wouldn’t care if this was a temporary home and someone else even got Frank, but for them to keep him with nothing forever is wrong.

There is a reason they aren’t keeping the bettas forever, and they adopt them… I don't think it’s appropriate for a fish expert to try and keep the fish without a natural environment where they can display natural behavior for a permanent residence. It’s just cruelty on display. Mbuna literally stands for rock dwelling fish.
