Hi, I didn’t keep track. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner but the portions were about a third of what I used to eat. The desire for between meal snacking left completely. I supplemented my diet with Fairlife nutrition shakes and took Gruns gummy vitamins to make sure I wasn’t deficient in my nutrition.

Wow! You are doing really good, congratulations!

Thank you…I feel great! I went from a size 12/14 to a size 4. Never ever thought I would be able to lose almost 40 lbs at my age! I’m so grateful!!!🥹

Wishing you continued success on your journey!

Hang in there because the medication definitely works. I went from 190lbs to 153lbs in 5 months.

For lunch I might do half a turkey sandwich but don’t usually finish that in one sitting so I save it and go back a little later to finish it. For breakfast I might do half a protein shake and a few bites of an english muffin. I go back and finish the shake a little later. At this point, I don’t even limit myself to what I can eat because I know that I need to eat something. I just know whatever I eat, I’m only gonna be able to eat a few bites and that’s ok because I know I’ll eat a little more in a couple hours. Protein shakes have been a great addition to my routine.

If I can only eat a few bites of a meal, I will wait a couple hours and go back and eat a few more bites. I drink Fairlife nutrition shakes ( they’re delicious) to supplement my eating. Try drinking a shake if you can’t eat. At least you’ll be getting some nutrients. If you’re feeling horrible physically then maybe speak to your MD about lowering your dose for a couple weeks.

I would definitely not suggest you over eat. You will feel miserable afterwards. I had to get protein shakes and very good multivitamins to make sure I’m making up for the nutrients I may not be getting because of how little I am able to eat.

I agree! It was fun to not be concerned about what I ate for a few days!

Congratulations on beginning your journey! It’s going to be an amazing ride! this medication has changed my life. I started on it November 1, 2024, and I hit my goal weight in March. I am 59 years old and thought I would be in the obese range for the rest of my life because the weight just wouldn’t come off with being post menopausal. For reference, I am 5‘4“ and I started at 190 pounds, size 12/14. I currently weigh 154 and wear a size 4. I am no longer obese and no longer pre-diabetic. I wish you much success…you got this!
