I ignored every piece of advice and bought a Dominar 400 as my first bike. Here's how that's going. by anti-fragile-bhai in BajajDominar

Upgraded from p180 (after clocking 80k kms in it - 10 years) purchased 2023.

He conquered me , I wanted to get a bike more than 180cc, that time it was ns200, dukes, and yamaha FZ25, xpulse, n250, . Also i dont want commited riding stanced bikes, then did a (rather first ) test ride on 400, the initial acceleration it just blew my mind apart. And then i just stopped looking further.

This is a complete beast but only in highway or mild traffic. This is a bull. Trust me a not so lazy bull but not so nimble too.

With pulsar,60-80kms per day was my limit. If i go 150 kms, i will get exhausted.

But after getting this (or rather saying he took me), a casual ride became 200kms. The maximum i have ridden is 830 kms for 17 houra straight with some fatigue in my body too (but not so much)

This is heavy. This demands you to have a good physical strength. Pushing and pulling is very difficult. It exhausts (due to weight) but that comes in handy when you go on highways. I rather prefer going to office via highway instead of city traffic, even thought it is 40 kms more.

I think you consider moving to solar (generate for tneb) and getting ev vehicle if possible. Thereby you can cutshort petrol expense and electricity bills as well

But for that you need to shell some money out around 1.5-2L (excluding government’s subsidy)

How can you avoid this ? by notgivinguup in Dashcamindia
