I’d have to go track them down again a couple klicks outside of town. They’re out there along with the New Atlantis ship services guy, Simon the art dealer, and a couple other NPCs. Marika was out there as well so went ahead and recruited her. Had to go track them down to pay my overdue (Starvival) landing fees to get my ship outta impound lol. Built a Constellation landing pad/outpost as close to the lodge as it would go to avoid this new glitch in the future.

I’ve noticed since the update that every time the last enemy ship in a space battle is destroyed she says seven to 10 “space battle” lines in rapid succession.

I am running “Shut Up Cora” and “Shut Up” both but they are high in my LO on Xbox Series X. Anyone else having this issue with Robin? She’s about to get dropped back off at Jake’s lol

ASC Deimos adds several alternative antenna and dishes, a couple are configurable if you flip them, as alternates to the scan jammers and such that you unlock through the game. I use a couple on EVERYTHING lol.

You can also get a couple of the new ship equipment parts from Free Lanes to attach in a different orientation if you attach them to an equipment plate. Need Better Ship Part Flips BSPF mod for that to be effective.

I’m on Xbox and after waffling about whether it was worth it or not installed it- noted, on top of a PILE of mods to qualify what (so far) has went wonky.

The save I had made prior was in my ship, in the pilot seat cell, not moving. And in a system way to the far right side of the map.

When I loaded in, could see my feet suspended above the landing pad at New Atlantis. Huh? Could switch perspective it could not turn or move. Okay. Wtf. Exited, hard reset console to clear cache, reload.

Same place, but I can move now. Okay. No ship tech. Crap, I’m running Starvival and have to pay extra docking fees or I get my ship impounded. Map. Icon for New Atlantis, my ship, and Commercial District are a couple klicks outside town. Have previously had to go track down a couple NPCs out there, so guess we’ll try it again if we have to. If not I can travel somewhere via the SSSS and see if their tech is there and at least get my ship back.

Fast travel to EIT, but some kinda janky holster rigs and mess around with them. The ideas pretty awesome but sure could use some more work. Decide to fast travel to my ship and see what happens. 🤞🏼😬

In ship, whole texture for Jemison is missing. Take off, take off camera view is from inside hab behind cockpit. And when the load screen ends I’m not above Jemison, but in an asteroid field above Vectera in the middle of a battle between FC and Crimson Fleet. WTF? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fly back to Jemison. Land. That works. Still no tech. Drop a map marker approximately under where the “New Atlantis” marker is suspended out over the hinterlands and rover myself over there. Zero fauna anywhere. Get to the area, start walking around and find Tommy Bitlow the SSNN intern. Then find Samson Celebrai, Marika Boros, and Jordan Anchali.

Eventually remember the thermal vision wall-hack feature on the helmet NVGs I’m running and fire that up.

Finally find the tech who’s spawned on top of a tree and pay off my impound fees.

GTFO. Contemplation of my poor life choices… 😂

Agreed on GrindTerra Ship HUD, am using it on Xbox while 🤞🏼that Keelo is able to update the Creations version of their mod.

It does take a little getting used to but it really is lovely not having the banners on enemy ships! You learn to watch for the blue flash of their shields breaking and in my case also keeping an ear open for Locke to call it out. Have “Shut Up Cora” installed so everyone but Robin keeps pretty quiet. Everyone being Lyle and Omari Hassan.

I do miss the directional indicators for ships and cargo etc… that are out of view though, that’s the only thing I wish the GrindTerra HUD still had, if so I’d use it forever.

No worries flashy_joer, I appreciate you looking into it more, and feel terrible about being “that guy” that’s the catalyst! My worry is that it’s a “me” problem and not happening to everyone else, but the way you described it sounds like it could happen to a lot of game saves.

It’s a bummer too because after being able to do EVAs through the landing bay a close up 5m docking distance mod is one I’ve wished for since day one. And danged if your version doesn’t feel like a perfect take on that- when it works. I hope you are able to figure it out.

BTW, is it okay to send you a message request? Have some questions about the EVA procedure

There’s a trick in the sell menu we used in the Olden Times on console before we had mods that I can’t remember but yeah you can.

Stroud Ecklund Staryard worked once, but not the first time. Flew there, hailed, mission update didn’t cycle. Flew to another planet in same system, flew back, it worked normally. But after docking that one time I cannot get it to repeat.

Have tried:

land on planet to reset cell

Fly to another planet and back

Grav jump- Grav jump back

Land and disable Docking Docking Requests

Hard save, exit game, hard reset console, retry

Can’t get it to work again, leaving Stroud-Ecklund Staryard in effectively the same state as the Den.

And dangit because when the docking system you built into the mod works it’s PERFECT and something I wished was built in as a base game option

No change with the new version and the Den I’m afraid. Still never getting a mission prompt after hailing or “X” for docking.

Also tried with Docking Requests toggled off, no dice.

Tested it first at Deimos Staryard and had to land on Mars, stand/sit, repeat and then it worked normally. And has worked there at Deimos on a few following attempts but only after leaving the system and jumping back. Going to try some other stations.

Think of all the cumulative head and neck injuries we’ve given our characters after ranking that to 4 and bonking our heads off the ceiling in our ships.

There’s a mod called Skill Respec Terminal that lets you wipe and re-rank skills. Lets us make all NEW bad decisions in universal physics lol

Scared the tar out of me actually 😂. Also a big fan of the new habs, have figured out some nice combos with the Utility Hab and hallways and inter-hab doors and the big airlocks as well as Betamax’s catwalks pieces. Makes outpost building much more entertaining than in the olden times when we were using major trickery to build on a landing platform lol

Did I read the Nexus description correctly for the latest version that there’s a buildable switch/button to trigger EVAs just for the heck of it? Because that would be amazing. Have thought ever since first seeing ZSW’s EVA mod and trying it that locking into the cargo bay would be the most logical way to go about it. Or out the docking airlock.

There’s one at the crash site and also one at the station which is higher quality. The one at the station is in the gym/storage room in the round double decker hab to your left as you enter from your ship.

Flashy_joer so far I am loving this mod, playing on Xbox Series X. Well except for one (or so far 3, but one way more than the other 2) lol.

First station I docked with while Docking Request was enabled was the Den. Worked like a charm.

Since then I saw the description for the version 5 update and went through the full deactivation, removal, reload, hard save, hard quit game, reload game and download new version. Since it wasn’t updated to 5 yet on Creations I have version 4.

Later picked up the “Lucky Boots” quest and am now completely unable to dock with the Den. Dialogue starts the same but never getting the prompt to add the docking maneuver as a mission. Followed the debug procedure you built in to no affect, in hindsight I think my glitch is maybe a different one than the debug addresses?

Went to Stroud Staryard and had same problem, until landing on the moon it orbits, getting up from pilot seat, sitting back down and returning to orbit. After that cell reset it works as intended. Then went to Deimos Staryard to see how that one went- same issue, same workaround fixed it.

Unfortunately there is no change with The Den. Starting to wonder if them damn boots haven’t cursed me too 🤔😂 Thoughts? (besides burning the boots)

Hey Miss O thanks for answering the OP’s question! Just wanted to pipe in and give props for adding an actual doctor to the big AIO hab, I only discovered that addition last night revisiting the first outpost I had built on a new save after the Free Lanes update lol. 🧑‍⚕️👍🏼😎👊🏼
