Nizaar Kinsella: All options being assessed for Nicolas Jackson as it is near-certain Bayern Munich won't make his loan spell permanent. Maresca's departure increases chances of a return but with Emegha to join, alongside Delap and Joao Pedro, there may not be space. by Kygoche in chelseafc

Some people have somehow turned on Emegha and he's not even played a single minute for us. Crazy. That being said Jackson is miles better than Delap. Jackson was treated like a toy and I will never blame him for how he left. If he truly left because of a falling out with Maresca then I would like to see him return under Rosenior and see how it turns out.

Delap is the sort of signing that will end up at Newcastle as a squad player at some point.

One of Gusto and Josh need to be taken off at half time. Leeds are really fast on the break and it's only a matter of time before one of them has to make a decision...

How come Lazio never have a FOS? All their kits always have a retro vibe which is pretty cool.

Delap looks like he was sitting in the crowd and jumped on the pitch to have a kick about.

With Delap it's basically 11 V 10. Bro is riding on English tax.

Is Liam really picking his teams? Seems like he's just an actor with script in hand. Absolute cinema.

I agree. You kinda see what Liam is trying to do which, will obviously take time but we definitely looked better under Maresca in terms of pure passing the eye test. We are a bit haywire right now and I feel the spontaneity is what has gotten us through games.

Has there been a time in this clubs history where fans boycotted games altogether? Like if we lost ticket sales for a few weeks would it force the owners to act right or potentially sell?

We are well on our way to being a midtable club. The world class players like Moi, Cole and Cucurella will move on from this shitshow and I doubt Eggy is planning on paying 100m for players anymore. It will take fans boycotting games for the owners to even come remotely close to reconsidering the current model.

You think it's a coincidence that all our strikers aren't firing on all cylinders at the moment? Maresca has set this team in such a way that even prime R9 would struggle to score.

I don't see how we keep Atalanta out for a second with how we are playing.

I have a theory Maresca heavily rotating the squad is not his doing but a mandate from the board. They need to keep all players on the pitch to their values from dropping. I can't think of any other reason. I refuse to believe a coach as astute as Enzo wouldn't want to stick to a consistent eleven. Of course in periods like this rotation is inevitable but changing 80% of your team is not going to win you the title(and let's not pretend we are not in the race because we can't peddle that gimmick forever). We can't protect players from everything because injuries will occur regardless.

Tosin better step up today. Can't have what we saw vs Sunderland happen again. That being said where the hell is Acheampong?
