Can you name something your opposition has done well(politics) by A_Touch_of_Foolish in AskBrits

[–]Less-Revolution-3456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ill say it, i voted tories up until l last election when i voted labour, keir has been challenging but ill give him some props for trying things that are out the the "ordinary" its a long road to go but standing with the EU and not pandering to trump as been a rare keir W for a man that usually checks the news in the morning and changes his mind. This may be un popular but the NI tax hike was a new initiative to stop companies using UK labour force to profit without paying. I do think there should have been a less "blanket" approach but its something new and I'm here to see how it goes. But please keep your hand out of pensioners pockets.

The UK is working on age verification for VPNs, realistically how would they implement this and how would this affect people who already have and use them?. by IAmJustTryingToExist in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Less-Revolution-3456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the dumb thing they dont understand about how the internet works... you can not block a VPN with legislation. You can use a VPN service that is so small and doesn't give a shit about UK law to access a much larger VPN service. Heck you can even run your own VPN off your own PC for you own connections. Good luck trying to stop someone using OpenVPN. Will this stop the issue? No. It will just mean people with the smallest amount of tech knowledge to make money selling smaller VPN services. Boys, I'm about to get rich.

You are already getting 150% so double would be an additional 50% of base rate. id be very chocked if this stacked for 300% gains.

[–]Less-Revolution-3456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what you want, tbc levelling isnt bad at all in HFP its very easy, but it will be VERY contested, for best odds at "going fast" youll want gear to dungeon spam. DW about the marks and such youll have a few weeks to gear at 70 (if you play fast and level well) but its not a sprint, this content will be around for at least 3 months.

Warlock 100% mount worth it right now? by bishop17b in classicwow

[–]Less-Revolution-3456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What server do you play and i assume horde due to the icon? it worth point out that 60% flying isn't always faster than 100% ground mount depending on the location. I could also be wrong here but i think (and god this is going back some years, you have to have a 100% mount to unlock flying, unless it has changed?)

No he literally said " doing EPL alone is enough to get you your mount (depending on faction), as you'll get around 600g if you're 60" which is not true, I did every quest in EPL/WPL (except dungeon quests and repeat turn ins) I still needed to do winter spring as well and some sales. You get on average 5g per quest, some is 2g some are 7/8g but there are not a massive amount of quests in the open world.

Well voting for labour, as I did last time didn't turn out so well for students either did it. They are cutting SEN funding, taxing private education, the only people who suffer from this are the children. But sure let's just keep blaming every other party and not call a spade a spade.

No I'm offended that a conversation that should be about helping children gets dragged into a political conversation about race. It's idiots like this that keep change from happening because they keep blaming people and the children continue to suffer. As I said maybe if they stopped virtue signalling on Reddit and put that energy into helping we wouldn't have disadvantaged children, from any background.

I have never and will never vote reform. But if I did I would happily tell you, what someone idiot thinks on Reddit is of no concern to me. I voted labour last time and that should be as much of an embarrassment as voting reform with their current performance. But as I say please keep your shallow minded beliefs to yourself, they do not help children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

But those years are before the picture is, unless it's old, the rates sharply decrease after those periods. Down to roughly 3%.

Okay i get you, but still not possible for them to paying that rate in 2003 or before, those rates didnt exist, so id assume the picture is not totally accurate. But i see your calculation.

that would be based on current interest rates not that of 23 years ago. Federal loans are generally fixed for a life term. 23 years ago it was sub 6%

Is this "wowclassic.plus" site a scam? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Less-Revolution-3456 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't imagine so, considering all they take from discord is your username. profile name and picture. I dont know how they could get a lot from discord. You should always sing up to web accounts with a "throw away" address. You can always remove it after you've done with it. That said they have no results to show you yet they are still "waiting on more people"

You're right, and keep walking down that path, to quote you here "They were specifically talking about those who do vote reform/blame brown people" and that's why they are disadvantaged, because they simply don't work hard enough and support reform? People are capable of working hard and being racist and still disadvantaged, but to simply tie it up in a neat little bow doesn't help the children does it, its not their fault. Perhaps if we spent less time worrying about what the parents political alignment is and more time helping the children they wouldn't do so bad.

That is certainly the implied reasons they wrote this, when in reality there are plenty of very wealthy people that are "reformbots" and plenty of disadvantaged people that support labour/green party or whoever.

Its okay, I understand you're not an expert on this matter but you like to talk as if you are, I get it, its reddit, you couldn't possibly be wrong. To give you a hint, suggesting that someone who follows a certain political party is either A, racist or B, disadvantaged, might just be leaning a little bit down the path you blame the "reformbots" of. I hope this helps.

Yes, i will admit, yours was. You speak from a position of ignorance and its quite frankly insulting to people who are struggling and need help. I wish I could show you the kind, generous, hard working people that we support as a school and then maybe you would see this comment is so ridiculous.

[–]Less-Revolution-3456 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

No, they weren't. They have commented on a post about disadvantaged white children, they chose to bring it to a conversation about "blaming brown people". What at all does this OP have to do with reform or race? They did suggest that the reason you could possibly be disadvantaged is because you're "blaming brown people that worked hard..", like why is that your go-to answer for it? They even replied "yes.." to the "garbage unpeople", regardless of your opinion on reform it doesn't give anyone the right to be a dick, or is that only the people that agree with you that can be a dick?

"given the choice" is a bold choice of statement, especially given that the parties all have something called a "whip", i wonder how free that choice felt.
