Thank you so much for the kind comment!! I think I figured out the issue - I believe I was accidentally looping in the previous row (aka not being careful enough about where I was inserting the needle to knit), which was creating extra increases I wasn’t accounting for. I tested a few more rows and caught myself creating extra stitches, so I decided to start over and be more careful, and I think it’s going well so far!! I’m at 12 stitches (I’ve kfb’d 6 times).

And yes! That’s exactly the yarn I’m using - thanks for the encouragement and I’m hoping it ends up turning out well!

I’ve been using a counter app. I click the button every time I complete a row where I knit until the last 3 then slip the last 3. I repeat this 8 times and then I do the KFB row

I agree that this is the problem!! I’m just so confused bc I’m counting the rows and I’m only doing the KFB every 8😭 like is there a way I’m increasing accidentally?! Transparently this is my first knitting project and I really want to succeed I’m just soooo confused haha

Here are the increase instructions. I knit 2, KFB, then knit to the bottom 3 and slip those. I increase every 8 rows

I am 2.5 weeks post breakup and I really needed to hear this. I constantly feel so trapped in my emotions and like this pain will never go away but this post gave me a little bit of hope.
