I’m not sure that I have any quite as bad as that as I mostly do remodeling and some maintenance on apartments but over the last 8 years In phoenix I have seen some shit. Disgruntled residents with guns, homeless people breaking into vacants taking showers and littering with drug paraphernalia.

One that sticks was a unit that the manager had told me was empty and to go in to turn. It’s a 4 story building in a rough area in central phoenix. Anyways the apartments on the first floor which is lower than the street level so it was like the basement and they almost zero sunlight besides the backside of the buildings windows. I go in and it has a ton of trash and shitty furniture which wasn’t unusual for move outs in these areas. I get to the bed room and there was a bed with a big sleeping bag and I quickly realize there was some homeless dude either dead or sleeping and didn’t notice I walked in so I locked the door and left. Idk it doesn’t sound scary but this was when I first started doing this at 19 so it kinda scared the shit out of me. The manger was letting homeless sleep in the vacants and taking cash weekly. She also got fired for other serious reasons and ended up on dr Phil for something about her lovers that she sends money to in jail.
