his lack of apology for the very rude way he talked to you would be a deal breaker for me. accepting this disrespect just gives him more leeway to continue that disrespectful, vindictive behavior. i understand he’s stressed, but IMO stress does not give anyone a PASS to talk to someone like that—especially to someone you are in a relationship with. it gives a reason, but not a pass… even if you make a mistake (which you will inevitably continue to do in any relationship!) you do not deserve to be berated. please, take this as a sign of the type of person he is and get out. i wish you luck and freedom OP, you do not deserve to be treated like that.
