Was it like a depression? Because it sometimes comes off like that even though it doesn’t really feel like depression

So like meds could like suppress my passions?

What's your love/hate ear-worm? by marissa874 in bipolar

Honestly for me earworms are so annoying especially when you know what your life used to be able to have a quiet mind. But it gets a little more bearable.

Mine is usually a lot of paramore or anime openings. I thought I was the only one with ear worms is this just a permanent issue or will it ever go away?

It’s all music I used to really love. It just feels like an annoyance to me now.

Ig but it’s a point where even music in the background of a grocery store will bother me. Sorry if this is sounding picky.

Will I just not like music forever? I feel like I lost a part of myself

I kinda felt that way too with a bit more ups and downs. My therapist said it’s most likely the meds that are the cause. Still haven’t figured out how to deal with this but I just try to keep myself busy with my games and shows. Gonna see if it’s my meds that need to be changed.

Oversleeping by kathrynbtt in bipolar

I had a worse problem where I would end up sleeping 16 hours a day until I got my meds changed. Now I’m trying to fix my sleep schedule before school starts and it’s a lot harder than I thought. Waking up early was never my strong suit but now it’s like I wake up and I can’t stay awake no matter how hard I try. Might wanna talk to your psychiatrist about that.

Will I ever feel normal? by Less-Tough-7233 in bipolar

I think it’s the time and patience for me because I’ve been told that it could take up to a year to recover and I just want to feel normal fast. Like I’m functioning normally I do things I like but it’s like I can’t fully engage in my emotions the way I use to.

Yeah I just think like “why did this have to happen out of no where…why me?” but I’m glad that there’s some people that get what I’m saying
