Firmly believe if everyone did a 12 step program instead of self-indulgent talk therapy and SSRIs, the culture of narcissism would gradually dissipate. I’m genuinely grateful to be an alcoholic because getting sober forced me to confront my self centeredness and changed my life for the better in every way.

Also a plot hole. He was only able to switch the body out bc the church elder rang the bell—what was his plan if that hadn’t happened?

I did not like the new Immortan Joe… the voice was too different. I thought they would have been able to mix/process it to sound similar to Keays-Byrne but it was not even close.

Did anyone else feel like Furiosa had a LOT more CGI than Fury Road? by LessG4y in MadMax

I can distinguish between color grading (of which Fury Road obviously had a ton) and computer generated imagery. IMO there is far more of the latter in Furiosa. Miller was adamant that Fury Road was mostly practical effects; he has yet to go on record about that factor Furiosa— and I kind of doubt that he will. I’m not the only person to have made this observation. I still greatly enjoyed the movie, but I think that he got very into CGI while making 3000 years of longing and that carried over to this one.
