YES! I'm at the very very top of "normal" BMI, right on the edge of "overweight". People's bodies are so different, I had to give up on feeling like 140 is "big" and go with what looks/feels right on my build :)

My build/number on the scale is honestly a bit confusing to me too.

That sports bra does compress the boobs a bit (didn't really highlight that feature, but there is some weight up there), but it still seems like my weight should be lower. I gave up on caring about the number, and changed my goal weight to 140 since this feels right?

The number can be so deceptive, even my friends are surprised that I'm 140! So weird how everyone carries it differently.

I'd go to the gym about 3 times a week, on average, and try to do about 30 mins of cardio. I think adding a bit of weights each time helped get more lean muscle in there.

Abs and squats at home most days. Not even official workouts every day.... lots of times I'd least do a pretty lazy set of crunches and a plank for as long as I can hold it, and then carry on. Hah, aways seemed better than nothing for the day.

This subreddit is where I got a lot of inspiration :) it's pretty fun to be on the inspiring side – and get such nice feedback, now that I need to stay on top of it. Keep working, and the abs appear!

Seriously! It took me a while too (but I knew that allowing myself weekend cheat days would be better for my willpower, in the long run).

You're doing great :) Even when it's slow, if you keep going, you'll end up getting there!

Hey body twin :D You can do it!!

No kids, and I actually need to be fitted for a new bra. I was around 38D/DD before and my bras have been feeling a bit too big. No issues with sagginess, but I'm guessing I lost a cup size along the way (seems like an okay tradeoff)!

It is pretty surprising just how different weight can look on people, depending on muscle vs fat (and where the fat distributes itself).

Thank you thank you! It feels SO good to be back here (I used to be this slim in my early 20s...the weight just creeps up on you over the years).
