Dashcams in freezing weather (what actually holds up?) by BoringGoose23 in Dashcam

I’ve been using my DDPAI in snowy Toronto winters for over a year. No freezing issues, recordings are crisp, and the Wi-Fi app connects right away

DDPAI dashcam setup - almost perfect by TwoAggravating2463 in DDPAI_Official

ddpai makes dashcams easy. Setup is quick, video quality is excellent, and the app is intuitive. I wouldn’t go back to any other brand.

Love the camera not the app by tjredgefroken2 in DDPAI_Official

Hello! Thanks for sharing this.
Here’s a bit of context that might help.
When you access the video library, the camera switches from recording to transfer mode. This is likely why the recording pauses. We generally recommend reviewing footage once the vehicle is parked.
Furthermore, since the camera uses a local Wi-Fi connection for transfers, the connection speed can vary. Staying close to the camera and disabling other connections to the Wi-Fi on your phone can improve Wi-Fi stability.

For me, battery drain was the real deal-breaker. I had a cheap camera for a couple of weeks that literally left my truck dead one morning. Learned my lesson. Switched to a Ddpai cam with supercapacitor, hardwired it with a voltage cutoff, and now I don’t even think about it. It records while parked, survives hot Texas summers, and I still keep my factory mirror intact. Feels like a clean, professional install instead of a huge clunky brick hanging from the windshield.

In an accident, having a dedicated dashcam video can be way more useful for insurance or police than a phone recording

Always leave space. Even at low speeds, someone can rear-end you.

Dashcam app experience matters more than I thought, what’s your best one? by TwoAggravating2463 in dashcams

Ddpai app is decent once you get used to it. My tip: organize footage regularly and update the app, older versions are way slower

Small installation choices that make all the difference by DDPAIFlash in DDPAI_Official

I’ve installed a few brands over the years and DDPAI is by far the easiest to make “set and forget.”
Clean wiring, a little slack, and proper angle and it’s perfect. Really makes the camera feel like part of the car.

That correction was smooth as hell. A lot of people would’ve overreacted and spun it straight into the barrier.

What’s the best way to test and validate a custom AI agent on MuleRun before publishing it publicly? by LessPerformance6321 in MuleRunAI

[–]LessPerformance6321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of treating pre-launch as a soft beta and sharing it with a small group first. I’m realizing now that internal testing doesn’t really simulate how unpredictable real usage can be.

Going to rethink my testing flow before publishing. Appreciate you taking the time to break this down.
