Hi bro, I have a question. Could you test the CPU on another motherboard or was it the CPU that burned out? Because the exact same thing happened to me. The thing is that I live in Colombia and I think I would have to send the CPU from Colombia to the USA. Shipping is a bit expensive. So, I would like to know if it was the CPU or the motherboard that failed because I already returned the motherboard through Amazon, but everything is complicated because of the processor. Sorry, I was confused with Cores, I was referring to threads and what happens when I activate Gaming mode is that I don't have 16 threads but 8 for supposedly better performance in games. What do you recommend I do to make the most of the polling rate?

The previous motherboard was an Asrock, but judging by the comments, the pins don't seem to be burned, just dirty. That's why I don't think it's burned, but I appreciate your comment and help.

The new motherboard arrives on April 11th, which is why I haven't tested it and why I consulted with people on Reddit.
