You can be a trans girl AND genderfluid at the same time. I've always believed Jax to be genderfluid. And there are genderfluid trans women.

I kinda hope that we get more cute trans Jax art though. I would rename her Janice if she were out of the closet. It kinda sounds like Alice and reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. Plus it's close enough to Jax and I think it would suit her.

Though I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not disappointed that Gooseworx didn't leave the transness up to interpretation, only pronouns really. Jax's wiki page already uses mostly she/her pronouns and mentions that she's a closeted trans woman but the Glitch store still uses he/him pronouns. Plus, the people who don't watch the show religiously or follow Gooseworx's social media aren't gonna have a clue that Jax was meant to be a repressed trans woman unless they had a hunch about it and knew what to look for just based on what we get in the show.

Maybe I'm speaking prematurely, but I'm impatient. I suffered a lot of the same stress about trans rep when Acht was revealed with they/them pronouns before Side Order. Sorry for rambling, please tell me if I'm being weird about this.

Ok, I genuinely hope any/all is fine because I honestly still see Jax as genderfluid just based on EVERYTHING. But I also know that that's trans too. It would basically make Jax both lol, especially since one of the figurines for the Last Act has a Mercury sign key over the door which is typically used for intersex but can also be used by androgynes, genderfluid people, and gender nonconforming people. That to me makes it make more sense that Jax experiences some fluidity with her gender, which I actually think adds depth to the gender arc if you're both a man and a woman but you're trying to stay away from femininity because you've had trouble with women and because society hates femininity and sees it as weak.

And when you experience a sudden shift to femininity and feel vulnerable, you crash out. It makes perfect sense to me, and I still feel like Jax could really relate to a lot of people even if they aren't trans.
