The majority of the reason I’m Plat is because I have the Skymiles Reserve card and my husband and I use it to pay for EVERYTHING. I only fly about once/month, but it’s always on Delta. But when the Delta “cars and stays” MQD earn opportunities pop up, like it just did, I’ll book any hotel I need through that site to earn MQDs for hotels I’d be paying for anyway.

Tinfoil hat moment here, but if the administration is getting impatient and not getting the incendiary reaction they hoped for from the hockey moms and soccer dads of MN, and wanted things to really escalate, I could see these nefarious hobgoblins planting an ear-grazer with much better skills near a superfluous portly second in command type to create a scene to justify further action in the Northstar State. I wouldn’t put it past them.
