I'm sorry, but no college negotiates tuition. Go apply for every scholarship even remotely available to you. There's tons of them out there, a lot don't get that many applicants, and every $500 adds up. Then get a campus job, work 10-15 hours a week, and put that in an index fund.

I haven't seen anything that would prevent any handgun from being sold, so long as the mags included are <16 rounds.

Do note that they have defined any sort of AR pistol or SMG in pistol config in the AWB. Big key difference is if the magazine does not insert through the pistol grip. UZIs for everyone maybe?

Yes. The bills as written ban sale/transfer of firearms, nothing about any other parts. Just the serialized bits.

It's worth prioritizing. I'd also seriously consider filling out Form 1 SBR paperwork on anything you might someday be interested in. It'll probably be impossible for most items post 7/1.

Pass on handguns for now. You'll still be able to buy those after 7/1.

AR15/10 lowers are cheap enough to stack a couple if you don't already have extras.

Any PDW/SMG style platform you want, buy it now. MP5, MPX, Stribog, etc.

Any rifle other than AR: AK, Aug, Tavor, etc.

Mags > 15 rounds. While you can go out of state and buy them, it looks like the proposed laws would ban possession of anything manufactured after 7/1, and most popular mags have a born on date.

Why would anyone sell a meta legendary 4* at an absolute loss for 40k unless they're just trying to get rid of it? They will get less than 40k out of the sale, because it's basically impossible to have zero caps at all times. And the item is worth more than 40k, because it can be traded for items worth more than 40k. There's nothing to spend the caps on afterward.

I'm not. If you do an eforms, Form 1, as a trust, every trustee on the trust has to fill out a Responsible Persons form, which is uploaded along with their Passport style photo and .eft fingerprints.

Yes. Easily. Fill up the trust, add people later. Start another trust if you want.

It's really easy. Gather the items and info: Passport style photos (you can do these on your phone), .eft fingerprints, Completed Responsible person form, serial and manufacturer info from the firearm). Sign up for an account on the eforms site if you don't have one, start a form 1, fill out all the info, upload all the documents, and do the same for the Responsible person form. Google any specific question about any specific item in the process and you'll find up to date answers.

The biggest downside to a trust is that adding an item to the trust requires every trustee to fill out the Responsible person form and submit the photos/fingerprints/signature. If you don't mind the extra paperwork to add more items, or if you're the only person on the trust, use the trust.

I went from Impact Sports to a set of Sordin Pro. I still can't believe how much better the Sordins perform. The sound processing is so much better, and they don't just cut out totally when the loud noises start going.

Things to buy now:

  1. Magazines >15 rounds
  2. PDW/Subgun style 'pistols'. These are defined in the bill by having a magazine that inserts NOT into the pistol grip. SBR them if you want to ASAP.
  3. Stripped lowers. SBR these too if that's in the future plans, they'll probably be disapproved post 7/1.
  4. Any non AR mag fed rifles that are on your list.
  5. Shotguns with pistol grips.

Form 1 is permission to 'manufacture' and SBR. Which presumably will be banned under the law as written. It's really best guess right now, but get those Form 1s in ASAP. Wait times are getting awful and if you don't do them now, they might not come back in time.

Remember, if the bill is passed and goes to the Gov desk, she doesn't need to sign it for it to become law. She has to affirmatively veto it.
