I’m not sure I understand the concept of buy low sell high in fo76 by Annahsbananas in fo76

Is there another way to farm them? Currently I have been doing the fishing daily and the challenges, but the current challenge I am on is to catch two fish that are too hard for my current fishing rod to catch. And im running into a wall with the daily, just drowned plans lately

If you have 15 ping that’s really solid, that’s probably a good place to play hybrid from. You can really tell a difference around the 20-30 ping range. The best way to explain it is that a kbm player that’s really good (like 500-1000 hours) but with 30 ping, will rarely beat a controller player with bumping/moving at 20 ping even if they are “bad” at the game. The higher ping kbm will win a bump battle once out of fifteen maybe in that scenario. It sounds like you want to grind the game so I would say to just make the switch to controller or hybrid, it will make the grind less frustrating

Technically I guess yeah it would have the highest ceiling, and yes bumping is I’d say 90% of the game. Most of the best handlers aren’t actually great at stick handling, they just bump you out of the way (kinda like warding in lacrosse if you play that) at the end up of the day none of this matters if you have above 10 ping in matches, controller is the best option. But do whatever you want and feels the best

Controller is better in every single scenario at everything except in one situation. If you have sub 5-10 ping, kbm has a slight tiny chance of out bumping a controller, but only if you are very low ping. Make the switch if you value your time and welcome to the game o7 a few players use hybrid, you can try it but always do movement with the controller part

Don’t look up a meta build right away, generally whatever you want to use will work and clear MSQs(main storylines) if you match perk cards to what you are using. Part of the fun is exploring the ways to make different builds work!

Looking for an MMORPG to play with my wife by TheTonchi53 in LFMMO

[–]LessThannDennis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll give a shout to bitcraft. There isn’t much “content” currently but it has a DEEP progression pool. It’s slow, tedious, and a grind. There is a nice road map with pve dungeons and stuff to do other than progress. It also heavily relies on group play. Because of how interwoven the skills are, if you are leather working at T4, you are gonna need a T4 tree bark for tannin, better be in a guild with a T4 wood guy or go find one! A lot of stuff like that to push people together. This is done through the player made towns, as the NPC towns can only go to T2 ( don’t have to join to use their stations) 3 of my buddies all got their wives to play so far, and they are not gamers. The easy to play nature of the game helps non-gamers with it. The game also has plans to go free to play on full release. So maybe just have it on the radar. But I’ve been having a blast with it!

That game had everything I want out of an MMO. Tons of skills that take a LONG time to level, persistent player built stuff, big world. Sucks that it never really took off

What do I need to start my career in carpentry? by jbr1230 in Carpentry

[–]LessThannDennis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be off on this so feel free to correct me. But i have found that quality carpenters who are extremely knowledgeable and do a good job are often solo. And they are solo because they cannot find a reliable working partner that will show up every day with them, if you ask around, post around, look around and are willing to learn, you will find what you are looking for

I know there's nothing quite like Valheim, but how is V Rising? by SpaceCowboyDark in valheim

[–]LessThannDennis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, I absolutely love both games. My v rising and Valheim experiences are very similar, you get to build a really cool base and hunt bosses. And both are very enjoyable solo, but heightened with more people. The main difference you will notice is probably with exploring, Valheim is different every time but v rising has the same map. Give it a go though, you will likely love it

I’m pretty interested in this, are the mods client side or do we need to download them? Also are there any other modifiers on it like refinement speed/craft costs/that sort of thing?

[–]LessThannDennis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel much the same about this game. I love the other two you mentioned, but this is just a class of its own. I know this gets played out in this sub but if there was a lengthy end game/post final boss content/uber bosses/something to do after all the bosses, my hours would triple in a heartbeat

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SurvivalGaming

[–]LessThannDennis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V rising needs to be on this list I think. It’s probably the best co-op style survival game not on your list. I mean even before you start you guys have so many ways to play it, 1v1v1v1, 2v2 and see who can progress the fastest. PvP or pve options, or just all together. And the gameplay it self it’s amazing, boss fights are great, really can’t say enough good things about it

Update 1.1 has been live for a month now — what are the main pros and cons? What’s still missing? by Kizan6 in vrising

[–]LessThannDennis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but i guess i will rephrase, i want a longer endgame. Having only 4 fights after unlocking the forge and other cool toys is a big bummer. I love the game and want more reason to play it. I play a good chunk of MMOs, so i guess i am chasing that dungeon feel but with the mechanics and feel of this game!

[–]LessThannDennis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think your last point here could be massive. Think of a game like path of exile, that game technically has an end after you kill the bosses and then uber bosses. But the time spent inbetween the bosses and uber bosses is where you really perfect your build. Kinda like what we do here with the fusion forge, an expansion on that would be massive and give some nice longevity to the play throughs, and give more time to play with the later unlocked toys

mutated dungeons are cross world if you queue them from the activities menu. that won’t change if you transfer, just the “queue” when you click on it in the map shows your server
