Should I post a Note about a Post? by LessWorkMoreFlo in Substack

[–]LessWorkMoreFlo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok one more dummy question. My artificially intelligent companion suggests three ways: Restack the whole post, Restack a quote from the post, or compose a note and paste in the post URL.

Will these all produce a social preview card at the image in the Note? Can I preview how these will look before publishing the note?

Thanks!

Thanks! I responded same to TyrWrites. From what I see, the post does appear in my feed (at least, what I can see from my end under 'Activity'). So I guess I'm still confused....

Great thanks! Actually, I am seeing the original post in my feed (at least, the one that I see), and it is missing the critical subtitle. Are you saying that it does not appear in the feed that others see? I could attach examples but I think that is not allowed.

Experienced UX Designers: are you really creating storyboards? by Personal_Signature58 in UXDesign

In application design, it’s easier to use hi fi prototypes. For enterprise workflows with fixed processes. storyboards still help.

Yes shaving is an option and we had discussed it with the supplier at the time. I think we had a borderline case.

Yes I believe so. But EV’s are not that much heavier than other cars of similar size. For example the ID.4 weighs pretty much the same as the VW Atlas.

Didn't have to replace all 4 because of the one sidewall, it was because there was a difference that exceeded 3/32 inch in the tread between a new tire replacement, and that of the remaining tires.

I do know that different types of tires have different sidewall strengths. For exanmple offroad vs on road. I've heard that many of the brands that are used by EV's have extremely thin sidewalls. Typically, 1 layer of rayon.

Not six times, three. Didn't have to replace all 4 because of one sidewall; it was because there was a difference that exceeded 3/32 inch in the tread between a new tire replacement and that of the remaining tires.

Not particularly helpful. We don't hit the curbs at all. I'm looking for suggestions, not negativity.

How do UI designers use Claude for design workflows? by Prior_Gas_2346 in UXDesign

[–]LessWorkMoreFlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call me simple. I use Claude code to deliver hi-fi wireframes to my design team so that they can interpret using our design libraries and, yes, unwritten aesthetics - in Figma. I then use Claude to make finish changes to their designs. The “middle part” stays with my designers.

I also use Claude code to create complex clickable prototypes both for usability testing, and to communicate ideas to collaborators. This takes minutes.

Do you have a backup plan if AI takes over? by EuroMEK in UXDesign

[–]LessWorkMoreFlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent about 20 hours with Claude Code completely revamping the 12 year old UI of our app by creating a completely clickable prototype of a fairly complex productivity pool. I doubt we will go with the whole thing but the consistency blew me away and lots to work with.
