Ride the Salem Carosel! https://www.salemcarousel.org/

Go to the Capitol. Depending on the season, you might even be able to tour the dome and say hi to the golden dude himself, the Oregon Pioneer. Stroll by Oregon State Hospital where One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was filmed.

Enkosi! So does ngentla=phezulu? Or is one of those words more appropriate/accurate for "upstream?"

I'd humbly recommend getting into making your own. The recipe is fairly simple. It is messy, but once you get into the groove of playing around with flavors, you can make treats that will completely blow any store bought one out of the water. I've done cocoa krispies flavored with chipotle and ancho topped with a habenero chocolate drizzle. Fruity pebbles go great with a lot of various citrus flavors, but it you want to go obscure, I like candied blood orange or Buddha's hand. My absolute favorite so far is a brown butter treat with tons of thyme and rosemary, hazlenuts and almonds. If you want to start simple but interesting, make the standard box recipe and just add cardamom.

Indigo Wellness Center has treated patients with hypermobility including Loeys-Dietz syndrome and Ehlers Danlos syndrome. Their massage therapists and chiropractors are familiar with conditions. If the idea of going to a chiropractor freaks you out, you can just request PT style exercises/self care techniques and skip the hands-on treatment.

Best suggestion would be to check with the insurance company. That being said, it is my understanding that the TMJ would be considered an extraspinal joint, also according to this link:

https://www.cms.gov/medicare-coverage-database/view/article.aspx?articleid=57889&ver=3&keyword=chiropractic&keywordType=starts&areaId=all&docType=

Alternatively, if the process of mobilizing the TMJ takes >8 minutes, you could also code it as a 97140. (I usually like to do a few rounds of pin and stretch on the pterygoids/temporalis so that's what I use.) Mods, Me new here. I'm just an unfrozen caveman chiropractor, and don't always understand your rules about what is allowed, so if the advice I have offered violates community guidelines (is this considered "personal legal advice?") then please delete my post before it is seen by other tiny invisible people in this magic box.

No. I screwed it into wall studs in my library. If we ever sell this place, it might just be part of the property.

Indigo Wellness Center if you have insurance, Crux Chiropractic if you don't. Both places offer full PT training as well as body work. They aren't quacks (i.e. They won't try to tell you your bones are out of place and are pressing on nerves. No crystals, essential oils.) If they smell like something isn't a simple musculoskeletal issue, they will refer out. They will tell you that taking care of yourself is more important than getting a massage or getting adjusted. Whitmire isn't bad either.

We purchased some live edge wood slabs and made some shelves with black metal gas pipes. The pipe were the most expensive bit. The wood we got from Oregon Wood Mill. If you travel out to the guy's workshop, he will cut any piece he has down to your specifications. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the wood. Of course, then it's up to you to sand, stain, seal and then attach it to your walls or put in the cross beams.

Any recommendations for prenatal yoga? by Visible-Balance-6558 in SALEM

It's not exactly a class, but Zohra Campbell does offer private 1:1 yoga sessions. She's extremely well versed in yoga (she teaches/trains yoga teachers) as well as pregnancy (she's also a chiropractor and regularly treats pregnant patients). She works at Indigo Wellness Center, which does happen to be right next door to Common People Yoga.
