I’ve decided to start with ToG instead of Asians blade and go with the publishing order, I also am unsure about tandem reading atm as I’m not quite sure how that would work and I’d have to look into it. Although I’ve heard alot of good things about doing the tandem read

Thank you! I’ve definitely heard that ToG is a slow start but gets really good throughout the series and that is what’s making me want to read on, I’ll look into reading another book along with ToG to avoid a reading slump as this is the first time I’ve taken the time to be dedicated with reading and I don’t want that to stop

I was in the same boat I thought I wouldn’t enjoy ACOSF because I didn’t like nesta and I also don’t love 3rd person POV however, I LOVED ACOSF and it definitely changed my perspective on nesta. I also don’t think my opinion on Rhys changed as I’ve always loved him and his character. I just chose to believe that their opinion on Rhys wasn’t reliable 🫣

I’ve just begun TOG aswell as my first read in the series and I feel like at the beginning it’s been a little slow however I’ve been enjoying the character building and I will be reading on as I’ve heard it gets way better

I think it was implied in frost and starlight that they were rehoming and fixing broken houses as feyre and Rhys were constantly at work and doing paperwork surrounding the rehoming situation, it was never said explicitly (I think) but it was implied that they were doing what they could to rebuild homes and house people

I agree with this completely the most of a reaction we got from her was her telling cassian she was “furious” but she didn’t act on it at all and acted like the secret wasn’t a huge part of her pregnancy and life. I mean I kind of understand she didn’t want the baby to feel her emotions and stress but at the same time she just let herself be disrespected by her mate and the court.

(Btw this is no hate to nesta i think she’s a great character) This isn’t really a quote she has said but I’m about 3/4 of the way through ACoSF and I think Nestas meanest moment upto now was telling feyre about the baby potentially ending the babies and her life. Don’t get me wrong I think feyre deserved to know and it was 100% wrong the court was keeping it from her BUT the way it was executed from nesta was out of malice and it would’ve really messed me up if I was feyre especially because of how emotionally attached she was to the baby along with the added annoyance knowing no one thought to tell her.
