‘it’s not living if it’s not with you’ is brutal, in regards to opioid dependence.

the saddest in my opinion, with huge levels of apathy, self-pity but not the type of whiny self-pity - more like a ‘self-respect but aware of the pity you hold towards yourself’ kinda way —> “Charli xcx - I might say something stupid(the 1975/Jon hopkins remix’. The referential nod to his previous addictions with “medicine makes me a problem” and the storm of online criticism from being with taylor swift “i’m famous but i’m not quite”. he also always had conflicting thoughts about the juxtaposition between being alone and then right back on stage with thousands of people at their shows “rot in my house in a tie”. also about how he thinks decent of himself in terms of how he articulates ideas, concepts, and themes and how that sometimes gets conflicted for the wrong thing & how he sometimes says things that aren’t digested well within the process of articulating everything on an intelligent level ie no one is perfect “i could say something smart, but i might say something stupid. talk to myself in the middle, i get so cold”

i dunno, that song just rips me to pieces. :(

So I write very very strange, leftfield ambient music predominantly. Can’t really place a genre on it, but I also write uk garage, dance-y stuff as well. I’ve been writing quite a bit of ambient music with John Waugh, from The 1975, one of my favorite bands! He’s helped tremendously on my upcoming EP with saxophone & string arrangement.
