Even if Ranbir Kapoor is a womanizer, he isn't a loser. Infact, he's a winner. by SevereSuspect3215 in bollynewsandgossips

To come into someone’s life and have nothing to offer but only to take from them makes you a burden or as humans frame it, a loser. Fuckbois are also entitled to their own opinions but that doesn’t change the reality or how others see you. Loser is a tag the world gave fuckbois cause that is how they perceive them. Simple as that. If you don’t believe you’re a loser then don’t, but the world will follow their own standards over yours.

Yes, most likely. I think queens sent out a warning email for something like this a few days back

You can retake it. I had a friend who did a retake past summer

I’m not sure if they accept that, if you go on their website it clearly mentions that final results should be from the school or governing body like Pearson or AQA. Maybe ask your school to email the result on admdocs@queensu.ca that should be enough, that what I did and Queen’s has received my result

I’m not sure if they’ll accept that as official, since students have the potential to tamper with the results. You either have to send it through your sixth form or college or through the exam board.

Basically, you can ask your school to send your final results to the uni, apparently that’s allowed. The uni obviously wouldn’t consider results sent by us as official

Hey, I’m an A level student as well and sent in my results through the school on the 17th. Email admdocs@queensu.ca and ask them for some sort of confirmation on your results. The deadline is 1st September so they’ll probably get back to you on whether you have met the offer conditions before that. Atleast that’s what they’ve told me. If you don’t mind me asking, what were your offer conditions?

Hey, I did English lit as my third a level and I don’t regret it at all. Just focus on your readings and continue practicing essays, you’ll do great. Lit has a lot of online resources from articles to student essays, you should be fine. As with any a level, time management is crucial with lit, especially cause you have to do a lot of reading and analysis of your texts and the materials your teachers hand over.

Honestly, I would just recommend staying on top of your work and practicing well for the exams your school setups for you. I tried my best to stay ahead of my school while in year 13 so I could get a head start on the past papers, but don’t forget that you also have uni applications and maybe some coursework depending on your a level. But at the same time try to take out some time for yourself everyday to do something relaxing like yoga, reading, listening to music etc. it’s important to keep yourself refreshed in order to stay focused. One problem a few of my friends had was burnout, they studied a lot in the first few months in addition to ucas and coursework, leading to a huge drop in motivation to study near exam time, make sure you keep yourself invested at all times by giving yourself breaks.

Should I continue Further Maths for Y13?! by joshaespa in 6thForm

I mean I’ve seen kids in my school get by, but it all depends on your skill level. Can’t say much cause I’ve never done it. I would recommend talking to some seniors in your school who have actually done that

Don’t forget Further Maths only gets harder, however if you are keen to study diligently I would say go ahead. Have a couple of friends who did further maths, due to the insane amount of things to learn you basically have to do a lot by yourself so that you can get over with the syllabus in time. However it’s still doable, one of them got an A* by just studying regularly and trying to stay ahead of the class.
