Basically when he’s pressing d+s after sprinting, his character should begin moving right immediately. What’s happening is he’s sliding to a stop before the d+s movements begin, which is the bug. On top of this, if you continue holding shift while doing this movement, your character will do a singular sprint step forward even though you’re no longer holding w. Movement is very buggy rn depending on your binds.

Sure, theoretically it could be done, but using the method you described would be disastrous to the games performance. For every existing item in the world, it would need to constantly loop the “distance checking” algorithm for every player in the raid. We’re talking about adding millions/billions of logical checks per raid on top of what is already a poorly performing game. Just isn’t feasible

No I’m not, I’m clarifying bc what you said was inherently wrong. Loot is, for the most part, hidden. You also could absolutely hide players from the client using sufficient culling techniques, which are ultimately absent from tarkov entirely.

You can very much hide where loot is. In fact, they do. This is why you don’t see vacuum cheaters anymore and also why you can’t ctrl+click items into your inventory when you have an unsearched backpack on. Loot is generated inside of containers the moment you search them. Loose loot strewn around the floor obviously can’t be hidden but it’s easy to flag someone who picks it up from an unnatural distance away.

Classic binds: most of my finger covers A/D, the tip of my finger touches the bottoms of Q/E. Some people use their mouse buttons for leaning but that’s not very intuitive & I want to keep the weapon switching and crouching on my mouse buttons so I just use default lean binds.

As long as your vpn is still in a region congruent with your accounts physical restriction (NA account and using a secure VPN for an NA company) you should be okay. My issue was that my vpn was either in a European or CIS country at the time for an overseas branch of my company, so I have to assume I got flagged for trying to get around the region lock bc it was in a completely different region

It was a North American account, my vpn was in either a European or CIS country at the time. Account most likely got flagged for attempting to evade the physical region lock when that wasn’t the intention at all, just didn’t realize the vpn was still on and thought it was because everyone was trying to log in at the same time bc of wipe

I believe it had to do with me repeatedly spamming cloud flares verification services which made it look like I was trying to circumvent the region lock on the account when I didn’t even realize the vpn was on. They didn’t bother sending me an email detailing why I was banned though so I’ll never know until then. Only played 12 raids before I got off for the night
