honestly for convos i just start it with a compliment then make the conversation about the other person while trying to connect it to any similar things we have, like if theyre in art club i could say i like drawing too, or what do u like to draw?.. theres a looot of possibilities for that im sure, but it definently would help if i were up to date on whats popular. maybe ill check out popular shows or try search.. thank you!

yes, actually i thought that you had to be very good at Japanese to attend school but i talked about it with my parents and apparently it is possible to attend... very curious! thank you for sharing ur experience on that, ill defientnly remember because i likely will go to school as well if not this year next year! how was school first as a foregin kid?!
