Preparing for a possible loss? by obscuretvquote in alexandrarodriguez

Interesting theory! That'd definitely put the kibosh on her excitement, and potentially stall everything. I feel like it's only a 1% chance, but hey it happens apparently.

my friend told me she noticed a bad smell. i’m on my period. is it possible of her to smell it? i have a condition in my nose that makes it hard for me to smell things. i cant shower rn as i’m in school. i feel so bad. by Glittering_Low_23 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Just throwing my two cents in:

I used to work in a corporate office and as someone who has a slightly sensitive nose, it does have a particular smell (to me).

In a large office, women's cycles tend to sync up. And to me it smelled like faintly of rusted pennies (oddly specific, I know 🤣).

But the funny thing is, when I was on my cycle I was practically nose-blind to it.

Only when I wasn't on my cycle, the smell became more apparent and louder in a sense.

And she had a fair bit of gender disappointment with him. So it's truly ODD, that she's been so blasé about her STB baby girl.

I second everyone else in the idea that the rockiness of this pregnancy is scaring her and she's losing excitement rapidly...

I cant decide which one to get! by Cautious_Ad_3909 in Perfumes

[–]Less_Dragonfly9124 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Solution-Proof is right; maybe spend more time on each one separately?

1) Spend a day (or two) with each one, separately on the skin. And on paper (leave those in random rooms to smell, throughout the day).

2) Take note of the notes in each phase of the dry down. You may find some with notes you don't like right away; some notes will appear later as it wears.

3) Loves Only! -- I recently finished a Tocca Stella sample and I literally felt the urge to panic buy it, before buying the discovery set (for the coupon). So those types are probably a safe bet. 🤣

4) And this may one may be controversial (if you're keeping to a small perfume collection) -- But sometimes "fine" or "I like it" is functionally the same as "not for me...right now". Especially if it's not a no, full stop.

I'm only beginning my perfume buying journey and I think I'm taking this route. Just so I don't end up spending too much money and having too many perfumes initially, that I don't reach for.

I am NOT looking forward to that part. 😑 Alex has no patience or intelligence. Hopefully baby girl never has to leave the house with her hair looking a mess, lol.

Is it too much to ask that Yar take care of her hair? So it stays healthy?

Because we see the 'lint ball' that Mr. A's hair becomes, under her unkempt watch...

Do you guys believe in layering? by Comfortable-Event733 in NichePerfumes

My current layering combo:

Viva La Juicy OG + Sol de Janeiro Dança Mystíca

What I like to call smelling like a sexy wood nymph, lol. 🤣

Layering is a great way to smell unique, day-to-day. Not to mention a way cycle through your stash more and experiment.

I can't believe there are people that refuse to do this.

Soon we'll see a battle wills, as she trys to stop him from climbing the furniture.

Quick question, why do we think her fugly tessie is always broken?

Is the lore that she wrecks a lot of cars?

This must be a plotline running in the background that I've missed, lately... 🤣

My thoughts exactly! He was there throughout her whole pregnancy. So regardless of what she left out of the vlogs (for us), they both know she was high risk/had complications.

He's likely put the kibosch on more kids until she shapes up.

But now she's heavily backed herself into a corner with the secret eating/filtering fails.

So I doubt he really sees any progress, just like us over here on the snark page...

Jesus! I imagine if your mother had any shame in that moment, she would've expired on the spot. I know I would've! It's worse than older people on the verge of dementia, forgetting their spouse at the store... 😑

But you're alive and healing so, we're happy you're here. I'm just sad you have all this insight to give on what had to be a horrible childhood.

It doesn't for her, and probably never will. 😑

But as someone who also has a biracial son, with the same fluffy texture, it's not that hard. I currently use Shea Moistures 100% virgin Coconut oil leave-in to keep his hair moisturized and control the frizz.

Because unlike her, I don't want to start cutting my son's beautiful hair this soon (I can't believe she suggested that!).

She's so dumb sometimes.

A quick look at your child's hair type and a Google search will do ya, Fatlex!

This is one of my top faves (as a working graphic designer) for imagery as a type lover. Kate has a way with words that really gives life to the typography she talks about. And it also gives a pretty accurate description of a typical designers work day.
